Chapter 4: The Blood Begins

Author's POV

Today is the start of the BLOOD, some are nervous, like Eligcka and Cheonsa. Some are just at ease and chill, like Mae. And there's also someone who didn't care, and it's Yanna.

Yanna's POV

"Ok, Wardians, I know all of you are excited so let's begin. Since, you're all already registered, it's now time for you to know your opponents."

Everyone made a long line. We, JUNIORS, are the one to choose who among the SENIORS is going to be our opponent. And it is based on your section what line you'll join.

I'm at the middle of the line. And thankfully, even if i'm just like this, I have long patience. Thou, i'm still irritated because i'm still sleepy.

Urghhhh....

-After 20 minutes.-

Finally! I'm the one next in line!

I picked a number, then the one incharge on the table took out the card with a name from the machine

"Here it is Ms. Smith, your opponent is Ms. Reyes, Ms. Mae Reyes. Goodluck😊."

She gave me the pin that we need to use to get a blood from our opponent, and for us to win once you are the one who injected the pin to your opponent first.

I only gave her a bored look, then afterwards nod at what she said. Ok, let's just get these Battle done. I'm sleepy.

I walked immediately and went straight inside the ring. I saw a girl on the other side of the ring. I'm sure, I am taller than her. She has a long hair and it's ends are curled.

*Is she really a senior?*

"So, you're Yanna? My opponent?"

I nodded at her.

I saw on my side view that she walked towards me, and when she's just a foot away,she reached out her hand to me.

"I'm Mae, friends?"

I was about to reach for her hand when suddenly she grabbed my arm in a harsh way.

*Urghhh! I'm trying my best to act nice. And this is what she's going to do?!*

Nahulaan ko na kaagad ang sunod niyang galaw. Sinubukan niyang baliktarin ang aking kamay at ilagay ito sa aking likod ngunit, hindi niya ito nagawa sapagkat hindi niya kinaya ang lakas ko.

Inunahan ko na siya, at pinaikot ko ang kanyang kamay sabay pwersa dito. Siya ngayon ay nakatalikod na saakin habang hawak ko ng mahigpit ang kanyang kamay.

Rinig ko ang kanyang pagsinghap. Maging ang ibang mga tao na malapit sa aming ring ay napatingin at halata ang gulat sa kanila.

Halatang nagulat itong si Mae. Siguro ay dahil hindi niya inaasahang magagawa kong mapigilan ang atake niya at naunahan ko pa siya.
