7:00 pm.

Peggy calls me, reminding me that were supposed to meet up Applebee's, like she always does. I tell her that I remeber, like I always do. I told Alexander that I was handing out with the Schuylers. That's kind of true, but not really.

I park in the first spot I see in the parking lot and head for the door. Before I even get inside, I see Peggy sitting on the couch near the door, looking at our texts. I slowly walk in, barely catching her attention. As soon as she sees me, she gets extremely nervous, like she always does.

I smile slightly as I sit next to her, "How long is the wait?" She puts her phone down to look at me.

"10 minutes, I think." She made slight eye contact with me.

We start talking and after a few minutes, she's the same way she always is. Perky and fun. The side I like about her. We hear our names get called and we both stand up to follow the waiter. Once we sit down, we both bury our heads into the menu, not making eye contact.

I feel bad every time we do this. All I think about is Alexander. I think about how upset he would be if he found out about this. What would he say? Would he be happy?

I distanced myself from anything about Alex and focuss my attention on Peggy,

"So- What are you getting?" I smile at her as she sets the menu down to stare back at me with a small smile.

"I'm thinking about getting the Chef's salad and Stake Fries."

She giggles with a beautiful smile. I see her eyes flash a tiny sparkle of enjoyment. For some reason, we always get the same thing, so I tell her that I'm getting the Chef Slad and the Steak Fries as well.

A waiter comes by and takes our orders, "Would you like any drinks with that?"

I think about it for a second, "I'll have a Bud Light." She smiles at me and walks away.

"Alchohol?" Peggy questions.

"I'm feeling frisky!" I wink at her, which makes her laugh and blush at the same time.

After talking for what seemed like forever, the same waiter brings out our identical food with my cup of Alchohol. We thank her and dig in.

We laugh about random stuff while we stuff our face until we've eaten everything on our plate. After talking even more after being done, the waiter comes out with our check.

We always play a game where we set our phone on the table and whoever's phone goes off first has to pay for dinner. We sit there, waiting for either of the phones to go off, trash talking eachother how the other is gonna lose.

Not even a few minutes later, my phone goes off with a text from Alex

Alex: Hey baby. I hope your having fun! I'm going to sleep, so don't be loud coming home please!

I stare at the text with a sad look. Peggy notices my overcoming sadness, "What's wrong?" Her smile fades once I look up at her.

I quickly plaster a smile on my face, "Nothing! Just sad that I'm paying." We both laugh as I pull my wallet out to pay for the 25 buck meal.

We leave the cash and head for the door.

"Tonight was fun." she smiles as I hold the door open for her to walk out.

"You're right, It was." We joke a little bit more until we get to our cars.

"Thanks." Peggy smiles and hugs me. I hug her back, making sure not to hug her too hard.

We stare at each other for a while until she finally pulls in and connects our lips. The feel of them are so soft, but harsh at the same time. She lefts my tongue in as I explore the inside of her mouth. I feel the world around us start to fade as I get lost in our kiss. As our lips connect perfectly together, I start to think about something else. Something that pulls me away from the kiss.

Alexander.

"I  have to go, bye."

Without another thought, I step into my car and drive out of the parking lot quickly, making sure not to see her reaction.

I walk into the apartment to a few papers on the island. It must be papers from Alex's work. I set my stuff down and walk into our room. It's completely dark with the window curtains closed, and Alex in the corner on the bed, sleeping. The blankets are completely covering him, so all I see is a giant hill.

I smile and get into the bed next to him. Usually he cuddles with me, but tonight, he just stayed where he was. I could tell he wasn't asleep.

"Are you awake?" I ask, knowing the answer. There's no response for a little bit, but after a few seconds, Alex finally whispers something.

"Barely."  He moves a tad, but manages to stay fairly still.

"Do you wanna cuddle?" I ask , trying to sound happy.

"No thanks." I hear him sigh as he buries himself more into his blankets.

Does he know about me and Peggy? Should I tell him? What if he knows? My thoughts go crazy as I quickly fall asleep to the light wind outside.
