'What am I doing? Why am I in Connor Murphy's car? Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Oh go-' "Jesus Christ, Hansen, calm down. We're just going to get icecream, talk, and you'll be back by lunch." Connor glanced at me from the road. I nodded and my leg started shaking but weirdly not because I'm anxious, but- Okay to be honest I don't know why my leg started shaking because I'm honestly pretty calmed now.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-

We arrived and I swear I've never seen this place before in my life. I look over at Connor while he takes the keys out of admission as he smiled at me with a bigger smile that I'd ever imagine on Connor freaking Murphy. "A la Mode. I swear this place has the greatest icecream you'll ever taste."

I opened my door and jump down and almost fall bUT I CAUGHT MYSELF!- Sorry.

We walk inside and we see 3 ladies get pretty excited, "Aw the Murphy kid is here! John! Connor is here!" The one in blue yelled before a tall, tan, freckled guy came out. Connor gave a nervous smile, "Uh hey. Evan, this is Eliza, Peggy, Angelica and John. Guys this is Evan Hansen."

They all smiled before jumping out from behind the counter to shake my hand. Well, all of them except the yellow one. She hug me. Tightly. Very. Tightly.

I said my hello's while John whispers to Connor. I didn't hear it but Connor smacked his shoulder and he face reddened.

Connor ordered a rocky road and I ordered just good old strawberry. You can't go wrong with strawberry. Connor laughed at that logic. "Strawberry is like, the Chloe or like, the Brooke of icecream. You gotta mix it up once and a while!" I smiled and rolled my eyes. "I-I can't believe yo-you uh made an icecream joke out of basic girls." Connor looked at me with a straight face, "I didn't say basic"

Shit.

That's awkwar- Connor starts laughing his aspen off. "Man you should've seen your face, 'Holy shit! that's awkward' Pfft" He mocked. How the hell did he know what I was thinking? I started laughing with him, not awkward laugh, genuine laughter.

"So how'd you break your arm?" I nearly choked when he asked that. He looked at me questioningly, expecting an answser. "I um fell from a-a tree.." He raised an eyebrow at me as if he could see right through me. "You fell from a tree?" I nodded. Please don't anymore questions. Please don't ask anymore questions. Please don't anymore questions.

He gave in.

"Well that's the saddest fucking thing I've ever heard." We both chuckled nervously. Holy shit.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-

"Thanks for the um th-the icecream. And for hanging out with me." We ended being out later we expected. We got back to school near the end of 5th period.

"It was no problem, Hansen. Maybe we could do this again. Maybe this weekend?" He leaned up against the locker next to mine while I put my stuff back into my locker. When he asked that, I tensed up but chuckled. "Are you asking me out on a date?" I closed my locker. His face turned pink and a smiled. "I like confident Evan. Meet me at the library around two on Saturday." He winked before walking off.

Oh my gOd I have a date with my soulmate.

That literally took me 4 hours to write. Kill meeeee.
