Iwoke up in someone else's bed, yelling, and to be the icing on the cake, Connor wasn't next to me.

After realizing I fell asleep at Connor's house, my next mission was to find out who and why there's yelling.

Little did I know that yelling was a normal thing in the Murphy household. Whether it be between Connor and Zoe, Connor and Larry, Connor and Cynthia, it was always a mystery who would first be snapped at by Connor.

Because of course, why would Zoe yell? Why would the perfect Zoe have a reason to yell? Zoe's so nice and nobody would expect her to yell. Right?

I went down stairs to investigate and saw Cynthia crying, Larry with a hand in Connor's shoulder, and Zoe smiling. Connor had an envelope in one hand and a paper in the other, currently reading the paper.

His eyes continued scanning the paper before he literally screamed, jumping up and down.

"What's happening?"

They all looked at me. Connor finally ran up to me, bringing me in a hug and kissing every freckle on my face. "We're going on a road trip. Us. Me and you. Now. Let's go." He started rushing me out the door.

"Connor, Con, Wait- What's going on?" I was still so confused.

He got in the driver seat and kissed me again. "I got accepted into Juilliard." He jumped in his seat with the biggest smile on his face.

I smiled just as wide as his smile. "Oh my fern, THAT'S GREAT!"

"I KNOW!" he squealed.

Our first stop was my house so I could tell my mom and get my stuff and then we went to 7 Eleven. There was some weirdo in a trench coat singing about slushies.

"So where are we heading, Mr. Murphy?" I smiled, popping an m&m in my mouth."

He looked away from the road, to me, for a quick second, with the most goofiest and mischievous smile on his face. "We're going all the way to California, then Oregon, then Washington, and then back home."

"How long were you planning this?" I question.

He shrugs. "I don't know. A few weeks maybe? I figured we both needed breaks from home and it's a great time to just.. Be alone together?" I blushed at the last part.

"And when I got my acceptance letter, that set off my road trip mood I was waiting for."

This is going to be fun.
