"You think it even made a difference? Us freezing our asses off?" Jughead asked his girlfriend.

"Definitely. Every revolution starts somewhere."

"Good." Jughead said, "'Because, I've been thinking... we lost Southside High. I don't want to loose Riverdale High too. And, you've not heard more unlikely words come from my mouth, Betty, but.." He sighed and turned around, facing his girlfriend. "I wanna run for Student Body President... and I want you to be my co-president. I know that you and Veronica-"

"Okay."

"Really? Just like that?"

"Just like that. I'm in, Jug. There is no me and Veronica." Betty sighed, "You have to do me a favor, though. You have to let me stay here. I can't stay in the same house as Chic anymore."

"What's going on?" Archie asked as he walked into the kitchen.

"Your pal Hiram Lodge called." Mary Andrews said to her son, "He's letting your dad out of his  contract."

"Well, I never doubted your mom for a second." Fred said, "I knew she'd do it."

"Wow. That's.. That's great."

"Yeah, and another thing, son, your mother and I have been talking, and.." Fred started.

"I'm gonna stick around for a while, help your dad with some more unfinished business. That contract was the last thing holding him back." Mary smiled and took a bite of a strawberry.

"From what?"

"I'm gonna run for mayor. Against the Lodges, come what may."

"Okay, now, just a quick reminder that this school hall is a PTA sponsored event." Alice Cooper said into the microphone on the stage in front of the auditorium. "Oh, looks like we have our first question."

"Yeah, no offense to the, uh, current administration, but it doesn't feel like anyone's looking out for the students who are being bussed in from the Southside. Is that gonna change?" Sweet Pea said as him and Fangs stood, Jade watching from the chair beside Sweet Pea.

"Absolutely, Sweet Pea, that's our priority. No one should feel marginalized or excluded here." Jughead said, then Betty taking over.

"Jughead and I will be representing all students, North and Southside alike."

"Next question?" Alice said quickly. "Yes, Midge?"

"My question is for Archie and Veronica." The girl said standing up, "Rumor has it that your parents will soon be on opposite sides of the mayoral election, won't that negatively affect your work relationship?"

"Archie and I adhere to the old maxim that politics are never discussed at the dinner, or the cafeteria table." Veronica said making he crowd laugh.

"Veronica and I are on the same page about everything, including her family's plan for a prison on the southside." Archie said, causing some people to boo.. one coming from Sweet Pea who sat beside and close to Jade, making her giggle.

"In the meantime, however, were committed to improving the quality of life at Riverdale High, which means more extracurricular—"

"Reggie and I agree." Josie cut her off, "Except, add the fact that we can and will deliver results."

"And we're chill, unlike these guys." Reggie said, the crowd laughing again.

"Shouldn't we be like hobnobbing or something?"

"No, we have to go before my mom attacks us. She's a heat-seeking missile." Betty then saw her mother and pulled Jughead behind a wall.

"You can't keep dodging her forever."

"Maybe not, but I can damn well try. Let's go." Betty says.

"Fp, you should be ashamed of yourself." Alice said walking up to the man, "Letting my sweet, innocent daughter live in sin in that soup can you call a trailer."

"You think I'm a fan of this arrangement?" Fp asked, "You're talking to the guy who's sleeping on a air mattress with his son so your daughter can have his bedroom."

"You're doing that?" Alice asked.

"Look, Alice, take it from a guy whose son choose being homeless, and daughter choose couch surfing over living with their old man. Make things right with her, before it's too late."
