slightly editedFred Andrews walked past his son's room, the took a few steps back when he noticed he saw two people occupying his teenager's bed.
He let out a breath when he saw they were both clothed. Then, furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed it was Jade Jones.. he shook his head as he walked off, down the hall to his room.

"Where were you?" Jughead asked as Jade walked into the trailer, late the next day.
"What do you care? Aren't you to busy cutting up women?"
"Jade." He said, "Where were you? Really?"
"Archie's."
"What?" Jughead said, stopping everything and turning to his older sister.
"I was at Archie's."
"What? Why?"
"Because, in the past few months that I've realized my brother's the type of guy who'd cut a woman.. I've also been dating Archie Andrews."
"What?"
☆
"Archie, don't say a word." Jade said as she walked outside the trailer, Archie standing in front on her. Jughead left early and her dad was at the Whyte Wyrm, so Archie picked her up to go to Veronica's confirmation because, it would be a little hard to ride a motorcycle in a dress. "I hate dresses."
"Jade," Archie stood there, at a loss for words. "You look.. stunning."
"You're just saying that."
"No, I'm not. You look breathtaking."
"Thanks, Archie." She said, finally taking the compliment. "You don't look to bad yourself." She said as he opened the truck door for her.
☆
"I feel out of place, this is all so.. fancy." She said as they sat in the church pew, not everyone was here and the confirmation hadn't started yet.
"You look amazing. If I didn't know you, I'd think you fit in just fine.. and maybe even want to buy you a drink later."
"Archie, people. Shh."
"Hi." Betty said, walking over to the two.
"Hey."
"Hi."
"You dress up nice, J." Betty says sitting down next to her.
"Don't get used to it.. I miss my jeans." The brunette said with a laugh, making the other two laugh as well.
☆
"Hey." Betty said walking up the stairs as she found Jughead at the top looking over the railing. "It's not like Jughead Jones to neglect a free buffet. You okay?"
"No, it's the Serpents." The beanie wearing boy said, "They're meeting to decide if I'm getting kicked out or not later, that's why Jade has to leave early."
"What? Why are they doing that?"
"I broke a code, I messed up bad.. really bad." Jughead spoke, "There's this person who suckered me into delivering drugs.. and my dad, too, he got roped in. So, couple of serpents and I, we... found her, grabbed her, and I cut her."
"Cut her?"
"The worst part is, none of it even matters 'cause she's back. It's like every decision I've made since we broke up, including our break up, just makes things worse and worse." Jughead rubbed his face, "God, I should've just listened to Jade and let her handle it.."
Then Betty's cell phone rung, "Hello?"
"Are you the ones that put up the reward flyers for the bronze head?" The man on the other end spoke.
"Yes it is." She said, "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. We're the ones who put up the flyers."
"I think I found it in my junkyard.." he said, "Can you all come and look at it?"
"Okay, Yeah. We can be right there, thank you." Betty said then the guy hung up.
"Come on, let's get Jade and go." Jughead said and they both took off.
☆
"Jade, come on we have to go." Betty said as she grabbed the girls arm.
"What? Why?" She said, looking at Archie then back to her friend.
"Just come on, we'll explain on the way." She said before taking Jade away from her red headed boyfriend.
