Nine in the Afternoon

  I woke up later than usual. Finding that it was only 7:30 in the morning. I still had time for my own things to do, but nothing came to mind. It made me think back to when my friend and I would use to hang out at her place.

  But we're through.

  If I could go back in time I would have slapped a piece of tape over my mouth. I heard another buzz on my nightstand. Picking up my phone, I see a bunch of unread texts from Taehyung. Instead of replying, I called him. 

  It felt like hours until he finally picked up. "Babe, are you okay?" he exclaimed. B-babe, I thought in my head, blushing at the words.

  "D-don't worry Taehyung, I'm fine," I reassured him. I heard him sigh deeply over the phone. "I'm sorry, Taehyung," I apologized.

  "Don't apologize," he softly spoke out. "I'm just glad you're okay." Hearing him say that made my day. He practically knows all the right things to say. Each word he spoke, his deep voice rang throughout my ears. 

  I just wish to hear it in person...

  "Do you wanna hang out?" I blurted out. I quickly covered my mouth and internally screamed.

  "Sure, when?" he asked. I didn't know what to say! I didn't know I would make it this far! I just sat down and thought quietly to myself. It was only a few minutes later when I came up with the time and place.

  "Maybe later," I answered. "Nine in the afternoon? My place?" He said sure and hung up.

  I can't believe I just did that.

  I jumped around and yelled with such jubilancy. I then paused as a random thought popped into my head.

  What would we do?

  Oh shit! What would we do?! I panicked for a few minutes until I calmed myself down. We could watch a movie, I thought. Or I can cook him something to eat! All these ideas yet what to choose. I laid on my back looking up at the ceiling, thinking about all the wonderful possibilities. Then I thought of the perfect one...
