We finally made it home. It's been a trying week but if I had to do it over again I would. Laurent took our bags upstairs while I got the babies settled in. I stood in their nursery in awe of the beautiful beings we created. Laurent wrapped his arms around me and smiled. Afterwards we headed to our bedroom. We decided to watch a mmovie since obviously sex was off the table. As we laid I felt moisture on my arms. I looked up and saw tears flowing freely from Laurent's eyes. Instantly my heart began to break knowing the pain of almost losing me remained fresh in his mind. I wiped the tears away kissing his tear stained face. Finally he spoke.
"When I thought you die in hospital apart of me almost die."
"I-I'm sorry I never meant to cause you any type of pain."
"You non have for be sorry bebe. I just never want for feel that pain again."
"Don't worry I'm too stubborn to die."
Laurent laughed which brightened the mood in the room.
We laid there and talked for hours before the babies awakened from their nap. When I entered the nursery I saw two of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen they were a mixture of the two of us. They had my almond shaped emerald green eyes. Laurent's caramel skin and his smile which melted me everytime they smiled. It was bath time so I fed them before bathing them afterwards they went right back to sleep. I chuckled to myself just like their daddy I thought.
I begin to clean up the house when I felt a sturdy hand around my waist.
"Stop it Laurent." I said unconvincingly.
"What? I do nothing." He exclaimed innocently.
I shook my head and laughed as I pulled my body away from his. He's making it hard on a girl right now. The scent of him sends me over the edge every time but with that said I have to stay strong or we'll have a whole football team running around in here. The doorbell rung and there stood Larry and Raquel with baby Ariel. Raquel laid her in the nursey with Elena and Eleni before giving me the biggest hug ever.
"I can't breathe." I said gasping for air.
"Don't ever scare me like that again." She said punching me in the arm.
"Owww sorry." I responded.
Larry was the next to read me the riot act. It was all in love though I really appreciate my family blood couldn't make us any closer.
