i must admit your reply surprised me.

i guess my presumptions were wrong. i hope you didn't just say that to joke around, because i'd hate for you to give me false hope. i don't want to start imagining little, cute moments with you (as if i didn't imagine plenty already) only for them to be shattered when you tell me it was only a joke.

i hope you don't mind me cutting this short but i guess i'll compensate for it by adding the letter i was supposed to give you about a week ago, because it's pretty short too. i hope you didn't expect a better reply from me.
