By the next night she hadn't said more than two word to her parents. Not that they noticed much. They were too worried about what Will was going through. He wasn't going through anything he hadn't brought on himself.

She was walking past his room and heard him trying to talk to Layla. The girl was smart and had been dodging her brother. Not that it was too hard since they were in different programs. She didn't bother to listen to what he was saying, she wished she could call Warren but his aunt had called and asked him to cover for someone that called in sick.

She heard the front door open and close. She wondered if Will would be home by curfew. She wondered why she even still cared. Weren't twins supposed to be close? She guessed Will didn't get that memo.

Warren was laying out clean glasses and watching the clock. Only 10 minutes till his break and he could call Issy. The message she sent him had scared the hell out of him. It wasn't like his girl to be depressed.

He was finishing up when he noticed who was in the booth he was passing. Will Stronghold. "What are you doing here?" He asked brow furrowed. Why was his girl at home crying while this kid sat here? "I'm uh looking for Layla. Do you know where she is?" No one could really be this clueless.

"How should I know?" He asked with an incredulous face. "I don't know, you're taking her to homecoming." Warren put the tray down and ran his hands over his face.

"Oh my God, Stronghold

"Oh my God, Stronghold. You can't be that dumb." He lamented sitting down at the booth. He looked the boy in the eyes. "Do you care about your sister?"

Will looked taken aback "What does that have to do with.." "Do you care about your sister?" Warren persisted. Will shrugged "Ya, ya I care about my sister. What are you.." "So how is it then that you know nothing about her? I'm not taking Layla to homecoming, I'm taking your sister. The girl I've been dating for weeks! But you wouldn't know that would you?" Will looked speechless.

"But I saw you! I saw you and Layla holding hands!" He insisted. Warren shook his head slowly, he almost felt sorry for this kid, he had it all and was too dim to realize it. "Did you notice anything strange about that, Stronghold? Like how she never looked at me, or how your sister was sitting with me before? Layla was desperate, she was going to ask you out when you went on about Grayson. She begged me to help make you jealous. Issy wasn't too happy with you either so I went along with it. But I saw it bothered her so I put a stop to it."

Will say there gaping like a fish. "You need to fix this. My girl is crying because of you and your drama. She has enough to worry about without your hissy fits. Do you have any idea the pain she goes through? And I don't mean just physically, though that would be enough. You and your parents, you leave her out, you forget about her because she doesn't throw tantrums. So I don't care how you do it but make this right. And take your sidekicks with you they won't leave me alone."

With that he left. It was break time and he needed to call Issy.
