The Past in the Present

Elizabeth P.O.V

I opened the door to find the head priest and....THE SINS. How did they find me, I had so many questions going through my head.

I just stood there with a surprised expression. I didn't know what to say until I snapped back to reality thanks to Ellatt.

I ran behind her for cover. I still had many questions, but I was still unable to face them. That's when Ellatt whispered into my ear saying that she would buy me 5 minutes to hide.

I quickly thanked her and got out of my hiding spot and dashed off. I had no idea were to hide, until I saw our music room, and decided that it was a good hiding space since it was hidden deep in the house.

I entered the room and took a deep breath. I walked around the room full of instruments. I then found my old flute which was only one of the instruments I learned how to play. I picked it up and, played the melody that went along with the lullaby our mother use to sing to us.

Playing this specific tune helped my worries disappear. It made me feel one with world around me. It made me feel at peace.

Meliodas P.O.V

While packing my stuff last night something about the legend the preist talked about made me think. Maybe the daughter of that goddess leader was able to be with the one she loved. But maybe part of her abilities and nature went to someone else. I thought about it for a minute but shook the idea off.

When we were done packing, we headed outside to find a limousine waiting. That's when the head priest  explained that Elizabeth's grandfather and him were old friends.

After being in the limo for awhile it stopped in front of a large house. We followed the head priest to the door. He rang the door bell and we waited. About a minute later we heared foot steps form inside getting closer, and soon the door opened.

The person who opened the door was Elizabeth. I was so happy to see her but her expression didn't say the same. Ellatt then came with what I assume to be their grandfather.

All of a sudden Elizabeth took off back into her house. We all looked at Ellatt for an explanation, which she only replied with 'she had to use the restroom.' About five minutes later I realized that she wasn't coming back. I told Ellatt about what I just thought to which her reaction was laughing nervously.

We all took that as a yes and split into groups. Merlin, Escanor and Gowther went to the right. Diane, and king, went to the left. Ban and Elaine went upstairs. I went by myself to see if I can find her faster.

As I was walking deeper into the house, I could hear music? I decide to run towards the source of it. I kept going deeper and deeper until I reached a door. I grabbed the handle and opened it.

When I opened the door, I saw Elizabeth playing the flute. She was playing a beautiful tune that can get any child to sleep.

Once she was done I decided to suprise her. I walked towards her chair, quickly went in front of her and planted a kiss on her lips. I could tell she was startled at first but then started to kiss back.

Our kiss was full of passion and love. Eventually we broke the kiss to catch our breaths.

"Meliodas" she said.

"Hey Elizabeth." I replied to her. We didn't say anything after that, the room was filled with silence.

"How did you guys find me, I told you in my note not to go looking for me." Elizabeth said.

I put my forehead on hers, she looked at me. "I will alway find you no matter what." I could feel that she was on the verge of tears again, but this time she was smiling. She hugged me and we stayed like that until Ellatt came in with a huge grin on her face.
