Elizabeth's P.O.V

After Meliodas proposed, we both headed back to Ellatt's new appartment since we still have to find a place and job, not to mention plan our wedding. I asked Ellatt if it was alright if we stayed with her for awhile. She said that she didn't mind at all and that we were always welcomed here.

During the summer Meliodas and I were planning our wedding while trying to keep it a suprise. We decided to have our wedding on the first day of fall.

We decided to invite the sins, Zeldris, Gelda, Estarossa, my sisters, my grandfather and my mother. I know what she did to me all those years ago was terrible but when I felt what she was feeling back at the restaurant, I couldn't help but feel sad for her. We decided to also have the head preist preform the ceremony.

I talked about it over with Meliodas and he said that she could be invited as long as I'm happy.

Also along the summer we both found a nice home to live in. The building had 2 floors. The first floor was for our business. While the second floor was our living space. We decided to open up a bar called the boar hat.

But since we didn't have enough money yet we decided to tell them we didn't have enough to buy yet but would still like the place. They said they would put the building under contract until we were ready to buy.

One morning I woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing. I tried getting up from bed but Meliodas only tightened his grip as round my waist.

"Hey, were you going?" He asked.

"I'm going to answer the door before Ellatt wakes up." I said in a sleepy voice while rubbing my eye.

Before I could get up Meliodas pulled me back to bed saying he would answer the door and I should get more sleep. I simply nodded as he lightly kissed my forehead and left the room. Of course being the curious person that I was, I got up and looked from behind a wall.

When I woke up I felt Elizabeth trying to get out of bed to which I only tightened my grip on her waist not wanting her to go.

"Hey were you going?" I asked her.

"I'm going to answer the door before Ellatt wakes up." She said in a sleepy voice while rubbing her eye.

Before she could get up I pulled her back to bed, saying that I would answer the door and she should get more sleep. She simply nodded as I lightly kissed her forehead, put on my shirt and walked out of the room.

I walked through the hallway and made it to the door. I opened the door to find a woman with light purple hair, hazel eyes and with a slender figure. I could swear I saw her somewhere before.

"Hello, can I help you." I asked her. She only looked at me before speaking.

"Hello my name is Caroline, is Elizabeth Liones, home right now?" She asked. I got suspicious when she asked if Ellie was here, but I answered her question not keeping my eyes of her.

"Yes she is, what business do you have with her?" I asked her.

"I'm her mother, and who might you be?" She replied. I took another glance at her and remembered she was the one Elizabeth bumped into that day at the restaurant.

"My names Meliodas, I'm her boyfriend." I simply answered, I invited her in and told her to keep her voice down as Elizabeth and Ellatt were still asleep.

I made some tea for her while I grabbed a cup of water for myself.

"So why exactly are you here?" I asked her mother.

"I'm here to apologize to her and Ellatt. I want them to forgive me for what I did all those years ago and.."

"Hold on." I said before I let her continue.

"Ellie, come out, I can sense your goddess abilities." I saw her come out of the corner with a pout on her face, like a child would when their parent won't buy them what they want.

"You know you have to deactivate your powers to sneak around." I said to her while I had a childish smile on my face.

"But I still dont know how."she said. We both kept talking until Caroline made a fake cough. We both looked at her as she saw us bickering.

That when Caroline got up she walked over to Elizabeth. She put her hand on Elizabeth's cheek and then moved her bangs that covered her right eye. Her right eye was orange with the goddess symbol on it, while her other eye was crystal blue.

That when Caroline started to sing.

Underneath the window where children softly doze
The moon shining brightly makes every petal glow"~

I couldn't help but cry as she still remembered the song she sang to us when we were little.

"I'm sorry my beautiful flower. That day, I just couldn't think straight. I was afraid and didn't know what to do. I failed you as a mother. I didn't mean those horrible things. Once I was out the door, my only that was to come back to you. But I didn't have enough bravery to face you." She explained.

"But look at you now, off to college, having a boyfriend and many people who treated you like family."

"I missed you too mother." I said as I gave her a hug. Afterwards we broke the hug.

"Oh, that reminds me." I said while I tuned my head towards Meliodas.

"Do you want to go out for a flight and find a place to teach me how to use my magic." I asked Meliodas.

He seemed to nod his head in agreement. My mother looked at me confused. I looked at Meliodas and he nodded again. I summoned my goddess wings while he summoned his demon wings.

My mother looked shocked. She touched one of my wings but I pulled the away since they are really sensitive. She then looked over at Meliodas but smiled.

We both put our wings away, and mother and Meliodas sat back down.

"Hold on I'll be right back." I said as I ran back to our room to grab a light blue envelop with black writing on it. I ran back with the envelop and gave it to my mother.

She looked confused but took the envelop and read what was on it. She then opened up the envelope and took out a white peice of paper. She read it and started to cry. This envelop was one of our wedding invitations.

I then showed her the ring Meliodas gave me. She hugged me and then thanked me. I asked her if she would love to stay and meet Ellatt. She simply nodded.

I asked Meliodas to get the couch ready, as I went to get some extra clothes. After my mother was comfortable on the couch, Meliodas and I went back to our room and fell asleep together.
