Chasing Down Elizabeth

Elizabeth P.O.V.

The first thing I heard when I woke again up was Ellatt screaming. I quickly woke up and so did Meliodas, We both ran towards the living while being on guard.

When we reached the living room, Ellatt looked at me and was asking who the person on the couch was.

I simply sighed and hit Ellatt for making such a racket. I pulled up a chair for Ellatt, while Meliodas and I sat down next to our mother on the couch.

"Ellatt this is our mother and the reason she is here is that she wants to apologize to you." I explained and Ellatt only looked at confused.

"Mom?" She said in wearying tone, looking down. we were now all facing her.

"Why did you abandon us all those years ago?" She said with tears falling down the face. I moved behind her and rubbed her back to calm her down a little.

That's when our mother said the same thing she told me. They had their moment, and we didn't interrupt.

After breakfast, Meliodas and I went back to my room. We decided to postpone the wedding until I could better control my powers.

Meliodas told me that a good place to start was the book, while he went to go cheak up on his brothers. I nodded and grabbed the book. It was called 'The Sorrowful Tales of Ancient Britannia'.

While reading, I was thinking of how the sins names were also in the book like Diane, King, Elaine and so on. I found it rather odd.

Eaither way I kept reading Chapter four, which was about goddesses, aka my species. I read the abilities and all the other stuff about the war that took place back then. I aslo read the page about our sacred tresures.

After reading the whole day, I put the book down on my bed and streached my arms. I then went to the living room to find Ellatt and mom caching up with each other. I mearly went to the kitten and got a cup of water. that's when my attention focused on the door as I heard a knock. I went to the door and saw Liz standing there wearing....

"Oh, hey Liz" I said, I was still upset at Liz over what she did.

"Hello Elizabeth, I'm here to apologize over my actions. I'm truly sorry over what I did. I hope I could start over and be friends." She said.

I just looked at her with a blank face. I invited her in and told her to make her self comfortable. She sat at the table while I went to grab her a cup of water.

I then told her that we had a visitor in the living room and that we could talk in my room. As she followed me I could tell that she was truly sorry, thanks to my abilities.

She sat down in my chair while I sat down on my bed. We talked for a bit until someone knocked on my door. I got up to open the door and found my mother there.

She told us it was time for dinner and was wondering if Liz wanted to join us.

I told her that we would be right there. Before she left I asked her if Meliodas was back. She told that he wasn't back yet, which to me I found odd.

He should have been back by now. I went back to the living room with Liz. I told my mother, Ellatt, and Liz I would come back in a bit.

"Ellie were are you going?" Ellatt asked me.

"I'm going to look for Meliodas. I promise I let anyone see me with my wings." With that I grabbed my white flat shoes and ran out the door.

Once I got outside I made sure nobody was around, summoned my wings and took off.

Ellatt's P.O.V.

After mom told me she would be cooking dinner for us, she went to ask Elizabeth if Liz wanted to stay for dinner.

Not even five minutes I saw Elizabeth going straight for the door. I was confused until I noticed that Meliodas still wasn't back.

I grabbed her hand to stop what ever she was going to do. She then quickly explained to me that Meliodas wasn't back yet.

I looked at her for a quick moment and then let go of her hand as she promised not to let anyone see her wings.

She put on her white flats and left. The moment she left I received a text message. I looked to see who it was from. It was from Meliodas. He wanted me to tell Elizabeth to meet him at the park.

Before I could answer, he called me. I answered his call and said "hello" in an uneasy tone.

"Ellatt did you give my message to Elizabeth yet." He asked.

"No, cuase the moment you texted me. she had already left to find were you are."

"How?"

"By using her wings."

"Ellatt I need you to chase after her and bring her to the park." He said.

"If you haven't noticed, I dont have wings or abilities at all."

"Yes you do, I wanted to tell you but I didn't know when. Your abilities aren't tied to your emotions like Elizabeth's but, instead tied to your will." He explained.

I didn't know what to say. It was all to much for me. He snapped me out of my thoughts when he started on giving me instructions on how to summon then.

I took a deep breath and soon enough my wings came. The only difference was that I only had one pair. I told mom, that I would bring Elizabeth to the park and that she had to meet us there

She said she would follow me in her car with Liz, I only nodded my head. I then asked Meliodas to see if there's a way to follow her path, he said there was and said a few words.

A minute later I could see a trail of sorts in front of me. He then told me to follow it as fast as I could, and so I did.
