It's been whole month since David and I ran into each other. I can honestly say I was very much surprise from what David revealed to be about our past. I can't believe my brother was bullying him harshly, but at the same time I was also going through a lot of things myself back then and he cheated on me. David looked so much different now that it's crazy to even think that we even dated. I wasn't surprise at all that Gino and Nicole were listening in on us.
Gino and I made up of course by finally having what you call make up sex. I can tell we're more comfortable with one another the way we're around each other. Of course, Gino and I still have trust issues, because of our past issues we encounter, but we're getting there.
"Amerie, can I see you after class?" My professor Mr. Thompson announce in class with just ten minutes left. Samantha and Jessica glance over to me matching the expression I have.
"You good?" Jessica is the first to ask me. I nod my head.
"Yeah, I should be good."
"I wonder what he wants from you." Samantha speaks exactly what I'm thinking.
I honestly didn't think he even remember my name nor remember my existence in this program. Maybe he call the wrong student. I get a text from Gino asking me what I'm doing later which I reply just studying. Amber texts me that she wants to hang out, and I quickly text her back. I haven't really seen Amber, but we've been talking on the phone a lot.
When Mr. Thompson tells everyone that class is over, I begin to walk towards his desk. He waits for everyone to leave and shuts the door.
"Ms. Jackson, I see you've been day dreaming again frequently." So he has notice.
"Is there a reason?" He asks me after silence takes over.
"No sir..."
"You can tell me the truth, I wasn't born yesterday now." I chuckle lightly shaking my head.
"My head is just fill with knowledge that you teach us Mr. Thompson."
"You're not slick Ms. Jackson." He smirks a little taking a sit on top of his desk in front of me.
"I don't know what to tell you sir." I shrug my shoulder.
"Actually, the real reason why I wanted to ask you to stay a little is because I knew your father, Roger Jackson."
Shock came into my body as I couldn't form a word to say to him. I just stare at him staring at the details on his face trying to see if I can match anything with every picture I had of my father's.
"We never met, if that's what's going through your mind. I was Roger long distance friend. We met through a rough situation, and we decided to just keep in contact." He smirks a little.
"Why now?" I didn't mean to sound harsh, but it's just weird he comes out now when it's half a year in.
"I never knew how you looked, in fact all I've gotten was you and your brother name. We didn't want no one to know that we were friends."
"Why?" I ask quickly.
"Let's just say we were playing from opposite teams." He chuckles slightly.
"So, how did you finally found out it's me?"
"Well, when I first met you in front of the building when you were asking where the program was holding, you looked very much like Roger, but I wasn't sure of course. It wasn't until I met with your brother and he showed me a picture of you..."
"Wait, when did you see my brother?" He smiles shaking his head.
"I think you brother should answer that,No disrespect." I nod my head knowing I wasn't going to get any answer from him nor my brother. I was humble with whatever answer I'm getting now. in front of him.
