"You good ma?!"

"Talk to me?!"

Gino voice is yelling through my ear as I try to find my voice. He looks scare as he search through my eyes for any answer I can give him. 

"I'm good Gino!" I yell at him so he can hear me.

Gino begins letting out curse words into the air as he quickly calls someone on his phone. I on the other hand just staring out the window going through my memories. This is not the first time I encounter this same situation getting shot at in the car. The only difference is that I wasn't hit this time.

I glance over to Gino as he's in a deep conversation with whomever it is.

"Baby." Gino calls for me handing me the cell phone. I stare at him trying to get him to tell me who is it on the line.

"Your brother." My eye brows goes up a little and I quickly grab the phone telling him thank you.

"Hello."

"Baby girl, you good?" He says calm.

"Yeah, I'm good. Do you know who?" I ask him straight to the point.

"I do."

"Are you going to take care of it?"

"I will, but we need to talk in person."

"You read my mind."

"And why is that?"

"My professor."

"You can stop right there, we can finish that when I see you."

"Where are you Nick?"

"Can't say just know you'll see me soon." 

Before I can say anything the line goes dead. I sigh shaking my head as I let his words sink in. I turn around towards Gino already watching me. He takes this time to run his eyes all over me making sure I'm good like I told him. He takes a deep breathe and run his hand through his hair. 

He tells me to get out the car which I listen.

"I thought you would of been crying by now." He says walking up to me. There's no hint of playfulness in his tone as he says this. He place his hand behind my neck rubbing it softly as he place a quick kiss on my forehead. 

"It did shock the hell out of me at first, didn't see that coming. I'm guessing you have some enemy's that you haven't dealt with?" I ask him. He looks a little hesitant to tell me which is fine.

"I actually don't..."

"You're in the game that you're on top of..."

"Not in this town."

"So you're saying they found you?"

"Maybe, I don't do anything here, because my sister, mother and now you are here. Either a new niggah trying to come up or someone spot me out."

A black jeep pulls up in front of us, the driver side window comes down letting Gino friend Ryan appear in front of us.

"Come on baby." Gino tells me.

"What about the car?"

As I say this someone else from the back seat of Ryan jeep comes out clapping up Gino as he nod his head towards me and head to the car.

"It's taking care of it, come on." Gino tells me as I follow him to the car. He opens the back door for me to enter. Gino sits in the front clapping up Ryan and they both get into a heated conversation.
