"Guys have you seen Nathan? He was suppose to tutor me." Jessica ask us. Samantha and I shook our head no. It's been two weeks and I haven't seen him since Gino saw us together.
"The last time you seen him was that confrontation with your niggah, right Amerie?" Samantha question me. I nod my head yes. I told them about the confrontation and how Nathan acted.
"Yeah, that was the last time for me." I told them.
"I guess I'm just going to have to ask that sub who's filling in for Nathan then." Jessica shrugs her shoulder.
I glance down to my phone seeing a text message come in.
'Hey girl, can we hang out today?'- Cat
I haven't heard from Cat in a while.
'Sure, I'm at the school campus by your house, if you want to meet at the chill spot.' I sent her.
'Okay, I was actually wanting to go the mall.'
'Fine by me I need a ride.'
'I got you.'
"What you got plan today Amerie?" Jessica ask.
"Nothing much my friend Cat going to pick me up to go hang out, I haven't seen her in a while."
"Cat? Why that name sounds familiar." Samantha says. I describe whose Cat and how she went to high school with us.
"Her?! The one that I almost fought because of her slimy ass niggah Drew?"
"You almost fought her?" Jessica says smiling.
"Yes, girl she's obsessed over that niggah. Even when that niggah hit her..."
"Hit her?" I cut her of confuse. He hit Cat?
"Amerie, you her friend didn't you know?"
"I guess I'm not her friend since I actually didn't know." I told her.
"How you know anyway?" Jessica ask being curious.
"Well no lie I was fucking with him, but on some real shit I did not know that female and him were a thing. He told me straight up he was single. She walk in on us then tried to fight me, she hit Drew on the face and he backhand her knocking her ass to sleep. Don't get me wrong he got scared shitless about to cry. I sneaked out from the back door leaving cause it got to intense."
Jessica and I were quiet, mostly me since I didn't know.
"That's crazy and she still stayed with his ass?"
"I guess so." I told them.
"Is she the one who's pregnant by him?" Samantha ask.
"Yeah, how you know?"
"Social media, he's been saying he can't wait for his child to come."
"Oh." Jessica and I together.
"To be honest I'm glad it wasn't me, he runs the street to much child." Samantha announce after silence grew.
My phone begins ringing.
"It's her guys, I got to go."
I pick my things up throwing them into my bag. I hug Samantha and Jessica before telling them talk later.
"Hey girl!" Cat greets me as I enter her car. I smile at her softly giving her a side hug.
"I see your belly getting bigger."
"Yes, girl I'm already five months about to be six month." She rub her belly before driving off the campus.
"Your skin is literally glowing." I compliment her.
