                                                                                Amara's POV
I walk into the kitchen to make myself and possibly the boys some food. Do they even eat human food? I think back to my dates with Remington and when I went to their mother's house for dinner. I really want to ask them some questions. This whole thing is so crazy. I'm still partly in shock. And I feel like it's pretty bold for Remington to have his nickname be "The Vampire". I continue cooking the food and think. I am stirring the homemade tomato sauce I am making when Emerson walks into the kitchen.

"Hey Amara. I just came in to check on you. You've been pretty quiet for awhile now. I wanted to make sure you were alright." He said in his kind, quiet voice.

"Oh thanks Emerson. Yeah, I'm doing fine, just still can't believe it all. I have so many questions I want to ask you guys." I said with a smile. He looks at me with most sympathy in his eyes. "Well how about after you finish cooking, we all sit down and you can ask us a few? How does that sound?" He asks.

"Sounds good. The food is basically done, I just have to plate it all. Do you guys eat human food or no?" I ask once realizing that I didn't know if I should make them a plate or not. "Yes we still "eat" human food. We just don't get any nutrition from it anymore. But it makes us feel a bit more human and it helps us appear human." Nodding, I take four plates out of the cabinet and dish out some food for each of us. I take two plates and Emerson takes the other two and we both walk back into the living room. We hand a plate to Sebastian and Remington and sit down.

The four of us eat in silence before Sebastian speaks. "So Amara, is there anything you want to know?"

"Um, yeah there is. I'll try to not ask too many questions."

"That's ok. Go ahead." Rem says to me.

"Ok. When were you guys turned? How did it happen?" I ask. "We were turned in the year 1318. I was the first one." Rem answered a bit hesitantly. I noticed he avoided answering how.

"Wow, so you've been vampires for like 700 years! Wait so if you were turned in the year 1318, that means that you were around for the Renaissance right? Emerson, you must have loved living through that period!" I said getting a bit excited.

"Funny thing about that. He's actually the reason it happened. He started the Renaissance." Sebastian said with a chuckle. "No way! That is amazing!! I'm also honestly not surprised. Ok so next question, how are you able to go out in the daylight? I thought vampires died when they are in the sun. Or in the case of "Twilight", sparkle like fairies."

"For young, new vampires it can and will be. But as vampires get "older", we build up a resistance but it can still be irritating. If we were to stay out in the sun for an extended period of time, it could do enough damage to kill us." Sebastian answers.

"So how were you able to do Warped Tour and High School Nation then?"

"Oh that's easy to explain. We each have a piece of jewelry that we picked to be spelled by some old woman who could do magick." Emerson explained to me.

"Oh ok. So uh, what did each if you get 'spelled'?"

"I got this black, stone bracelet. I just tell people that a fan gave it to me as a cover story." Sebastian says while showing me the bracelet. "I got an earring done." Emerson shows me the small, gold circular earring with a red tassel on the end.
