Chapter 12

The stars glitter above and the moon casts a soft glow making it slightly easier to see, I've been in the forrest all day taking out my anger on anything I can. I've shredded a few bunnies, dismembered a deer and took on a boulder all the while I can feel my mates pack a safe distance away trying to call me back. I've had enough if this, I've made my decision on what to do and now it's Beck's and Kai's turn to make their decision.

Marcella needs to leave.

I refuse to be in the same building, live in the same area as her. She's caused nothing but doubt and pain for my wolf and I and I won't tolerate any more.

Well then let's head back and talk to them.

Alright.

Turning around I start my treck back to the palace and since I'm in wolf form it only takes me ten minutes to get back. The first paw that lands on palace territory I get surrounded by wolves and people, all looking worriedly. Alex zooms past them with an armful of clothed and red puffy eyes like she's been crying.

She pushes me behind a tree so I take the chance to turn back. My bones break and shatter once more reforming into human bones as my fur falls away and disintegrates into the air leaving just my pelt. Soft human skin grows over spreading like wild vines untill it completely covers me once again. My canines retract back into my mouth shrinking untill they look like normal teeth as my black claws turn into fingers.

Worried that something has happened to her mate or her son I grib Alex's shoulders getting her to look at me. "What's wrong? Has something happened to Al? To your mate?".

Alex hands me the clothes she carries and wipes at her eyes "nothing like that my lady".

"Then why are you crying?" I ask as I slip on the clothes.

She sniffles as she helps me get my hair that's tucked under the black crop top out as I button the skinny jeans. "I heard about this morning and I've been so worried about you".

My heart sinks at this. I didn't want her to worry, I didn't mean to make her cry. "I'm sorry Alex" I whisper "I didn't mean to do this to you. I-I" I clear my throat and try again "I just needed to have some time to myself is all" I tell her.

She nods her head in understanding. "Where are my mates" I ask "I need to talk to them".

Alex has a look of mix rage and worry on her face "their in their office my lady. I'll take you to them".

We step out from behind the tree and the werewolfs part for us like the red sea as Alex leads the way to the palace. Stepping through the back door I crindge. I did some serious damage. The once pretty back door and hall looks like it had been ransacked by a wild animal. Well technically just a super pissed off one.

We go to the second floor and walk the maze like halls untill we stop at a set of dark oak doors. By the strong scent of cinnamon and chocolate I know by mate are in the room through these doors and they've been their for awhile.

Knocking on the door I wait for them to tell me to come in. When they do I don't waste any time and slip in leaving Alex outside waiting by the door for me to return.

"Aria" Beck calls standing from his chair immediately followed by Kai from his identical desk and chair.

I raise my hand silently telling them to stay and they do. They fall back into their chairs and look at me worriedly. "Aria, we've been so worried about you" Kai tells me.

"But we thought you wanted to be alone for awhile" Beck explains.

I nod telling them that's exactly what I wanted. "Since when I first woke up here Marcella has caused nothing but pain" I explain "so that's why I want to ask you two to send her away".
