chapter 13

It's been three days and I've luckily haven't reverted back to my condition before I met Beck and Kai. I've been about to keep my food down, sleep well and have have even started training again much to everyone's horror.

All the wolves that disrespected me before hand have got abit more attention from me then normal. Mia yelled at me because the 'extra attention' made one of the she-wolves cry. All on retrospect, she started I just ended it.

Yeah but we didn't have to break her arm.

I don't take bullying lightly I tell her.

Fair enough.

Right now I'm taking a break from training and keeping wolves in line and instead am helping Mia with her new garden. She apparently ranted and raved about how the pack should have a vegetable garden and have fresh food grown here. I actually like the idea but Harrison made the mistake of putting Mia in charge of it. The girl can't even look after plastic plants let alone real ones.

So because of her lack of gardening knowledge I've enlisted a few fellow pack members to help out. The five of us, three girls two boys, have designed the garden bed layout. We have a mixture of normal and raised beds as well as we've made a wire wall so we could hang smaller pots for hearbs. Which leads us to now. Actually planting the things.

We've sowed carrot seeds, lettuce and rubarb in one bed potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli in other with lots of other vegetables and hearbs in the other four large garden beds and potted wall.

"Aria can we take a break please?" Mia whines causing the others to giggle.

I shake my head at her "we're almost done" I tell her "just finish planting the mint and I'll take care of the rest".

Everyone finishes their jobs and wonders off leaving me to finish up. I surround the seeds with mulch making sure they would still be able to have sunlight. I give everything a good water then head back inside following Mias scent to Harrisons office. I was about to walk in when Harrison starts yelling making me jump back in suprise.

"I don't fucking care if you're sorry!" He shouts as I lean against the wall opposite of the doors. "I've had enough of your bullshit! Get out of my office and off my land!".

"Please just let me see her!".

Kai? What is he doing here? Pushing myself off the wall I fling open the doors to see a pissed of Harrison standing behind his desk an upset Mia glaring at Kai so looks like he got hit by a truck.

"Aria" Kai whispers stumbling towards me but stops when I take a step back wearily.

"What are you doing here Kai" I demand.

"To see you, to talk" the poor guy has bags under his eyes and looks like he hasn't slept, ate or bathed since I left.

"Why? You sent me away remember" I turn to leave but Kai grabs onto one of my wrists keeping me from going as he falls to his knees.

"Please Aria".

Let's hear him out my wolf suggests.

Fine I sigh.

Helping him I set him in a chair opposite of Harrison. "Could we talk alone please?" I ask.

Harrison hesitates but nods his head after not to long and takes Mia with him. Mia continues to glare at Kai as she's dragged out by her mate. Once the door closes behind them I take Harrisons seat so I have something between Kai and me.

"Where's Beck?" I question.

"Still at the pack" he tells me "he told me not to come and put my focus on problems in the pack but" he chokes up cutting himself short.
