Chapter 18

After changing back into our normal cloths Kai, Beck and I get in the black hummer as the two guys who brought Kai over go to fetch our bags from the hotel.

"Is Alex okay?" I ask looking at Kai who fought his way to shotgun.

Litterally he picked me up and threw me away from the door as I was about to climb him. I'm just lucky Beck was there and caught me.

"She's fine. Al and Axel are looking after her" Kai says. Axel must be Alexs mate.

What's with the A's. Two Alexs and an Axel.

"Marcella thought Alex was you" Kai continued "she apparently locked Alex in the walk-in-wardrobe and started screaming about how it's her fault and something or other and set the bed in fire".

Clenching my fists I close my eyes feeling my wolf trying to claw out "what of Marcella?".

"She's being held in an interrogation room" Kai explains then looks over to Beck "her mum is on her way".

I pull my phone out and try not to break it as I punch in my message and send it to Harrison. I refuse to allow a danger stay another night in the Palace.

I get a ding notifying me that I have a message and see its from Harrison. "Kai" I call.

"Yes honey bunch?" Ignoring the last part I shuffle forward and lean over towards him.

"Tell Marcellas father to come as well" I say.

"Why?" Beck asks.

"We're ending this today" I say and lean back in my chair.

Kai gets his phone out and starts typing out his own message. We all sit in silence as we make our way back to the palace. Beck driving with his usual stoic face Kai sitting jiggling his hand back and forth as I slouch in the back growling to myself.

We should of killed her before this happened.

There would of been repercussions before now.

But now Alex is hurt.

And Marcella will pay.

She should with her life.

We are now in the eyes of the community. We must seem fair and just. She'll have a trial.

But!

But we will make the evidence of her being a danger to the werewolf community damning. She will be punished.

Alright fine. We'll do this your way.

Make sure Marcella can't conmunicate with her mum.

"Kai?" I call.

"Hmm" he says stilling jiggling his hand.

"Make sure Marcella is isolated don't let her talk to her mother" I tell him.

"Okay" Kai and Beck both glance at me in the review mirror.

I decide that they should know what my wolf and I are thinking. "Marcella can't stay in the palace anymore".

"She-" Kai starts but I cut him off.

"I know" I say then continue "she will have a trail. With a high judge and a jury of pure. We are royals so we can't just kill her. We will provide solid evidence and have her exiled and her mother stripped of marriage and ranking".

"You sound like a Queen" Beck smiles softly.

"No she sounds pissed" Kai says looking at his brother with a 'duh' look.
