Chapter 15

"Aaaaariaaaa".

"What Kai?!" I snap.

"You look pretty" he has a goofy grin on his face that just seems to melt my frustration of him away.

I must admit I do look pretty tonight. My hair is down and wavy from being in a braid all day and I have eyeliner on to help bring out my eyes. The real kicker of my look is my dress that Mia secretly brought me. It's a red cotail dress with a sexy slit up one leg with scattered glitters at the bottom. I paired the dress off with velvet black strappy heels that gives me a few extra inchs of hight.

"Thanks" I smile then change to a scrowl "now got get changed or your not coming with me".

Kai let's out a wolfish whine from the back of his throat and gets up off my couch and into the bathroom where is tux waiting for him courtesy of Harrison. Tonight is a big night that I completely forgot about. All of the surrounding packs are coming here to strengthen their alliances with each other. It's been ages since I attended one but now I can..... If I can get Kai dressed that is.

Fixing one of my shoes I look around at all my packet boxes and smiles. I'm finally going to be with my mates.

We're going to have to get rid of Marcella first. My wolf tells me.

I know I reply.

Walking over to the bathroom door I knock and ask how Kai's going.

"I need help" he shouts back.

"Open the door" I tell him.

He does so and I see what he means. One of his suit jacket buttons has gotten stuck in his hair as he half as it on, his white button up is hasitly tucked into his pants there is now a toothpaste stain on the lip of his jacket pocket. Shaking my head I tell to tuck his shirt in properly as I untangle the problem button. Once his hairs free I grab a fake flower from my dining table as Kai puts on his tuxedo jacket and buttons it up. Turning Kai towatds me I put the flower in his pocket hiding the stain and quickly brush his hair but to no use. This guy was just born with the mad scientist hair style.

Looking him over I nod in satisfaction. "You clean up well".

"Thank you" he takes me hand and twirls me around making my dress flare out a little.

"Come on that's enough" I tell him "we're already late as it is".

Dragging him out the bathroom and out the front door we make our way to the pack house where classical music is loud enough that it can be heard from outside. Pulling my mate along we slip inside the great hall where the banquet is being held. I immediately go over to the stereo and turn down the volume that Sam most likely put it to making the people close by nod in thanks at me.

I husher Kai over to the snack table and pile a plate of food handing it to him.

That should keep him quiet yeah? I ask my wolf.

Should..... Maybe give him a toy as well she tells me.

I pull out my phone that I got back after returnifrom my mates pack and unlock it handing it to Kai so he can play the games on it. He happily takes it and looks through my games.

He's like a child my wolf chuckles.

But he's ours and he's perfect I smile.

I gently guide him over to the group of werewolves that consist of Harrison, Mia, Sam and another Alpha that I don't recognize.
