chapter 19

I fix the collor of my dark blue suit checking myself over making sure everything is in place. My hair is in a high pony tail I have a little make-up mainly around my eyes to help them stand out more and I'm pulling off a nice dark blue womens suit with a white blouse underneath with black stilettos.

I walk about of the room and am met with the Lawyer Harrison sent a a child care agent Marcellas father brought with him.

"My lady" they both bow their heads.

The lawyer steps forward "I'm all caught up and I am very confident that we will win my lady".

"Good" I tell him and look at the man. "And what do you have to say?".

The agent looks abit nervous but he steos forward as well. "I have checked over everything and talked to Prince Beck and Prince Kai and they seem to be competent enough to be parents" he tells me "can I ask you a few questions?".

I pull out my phone and look at the time before shoving it back into my pocket. "Yes but we'll have to walk and talk. Follow" I say and walk down the hall having both men follow me.

"Okay first question" he says looking at his clip board "how to you feel about adopting?".

"A pup is a pup and if I adopt her no matter what anyone says she will be my pup and she will be treated as such" I say truthfully.

"Okay, next question. What sort of discipline would you use?" He asks.

"If she misbehaves she will be warned, if she continues she will be put in timeout and if she still acts up she will be grounded. No phone, no games, early bedtime, no spending money, certain toys taken away" I say. That's how Cassia raised Mia and I so that's how I will raise Clark.

"And lastly. What will you do if she wants to see her biological mother?".

"If she wants to see her she can but in a safe controlled environment" I say. I'll be dammed letting Marcella and her mother use Clark for their own use.

"Okay" he says and scribbles something on his clip board "I deem you and you're mates suitable to adopt Clark. I'll get the paper work in order" he runs off into a different hall.

I meet up with Kai and Beck at a set of double oak doors in a separate building and give them a kiss on the cheek in greeting. "Ready?" I ask.

"First of what did the child care agent say? Do we get Clark?" Kai asks looking between Beck and I rapidly.

Beck looks at me with a mixture of fear and hope "what did he say? We need to look after Clark, she's our sister".

"No she isn't" I say and face the double doors "she's our pup. The paperwork will be ready to sign after court".

I see Beck nod happily but with a hidden smile and Kai bounces up and down happily. Beck and Kia flank me on either side as I push open the door to the court building. Everyone stands and bows to us as we walk in the judge, the jury and the defends lawyer. Everyone other then Marcella and her mother. I force my wolf not to growl or take over and continue to walk over to our seats just a mere meter away from the bitch that tried killing Alex.

We sit down and everyone follows close behind. I suspect that the court would start straight away but the judge seems to have other ideas. "How are you today my Prince's? My lady?".

"We're well. You Mury?" Kai replys.

The judge chuckles and nods his head "quite well quite well. The grandchildren are a bit of a handful but the company is lovly. I do hope I can be at attendants at your wedding".
