"This is so... good"
Kira finally understood it.
"Builder, whatever you say, we're not giving Sayla and her kid a suit."
"What is the kids name anyway?" Asked Autumn, who was watching from a corner of the room all the time.
"You're right. I haven't heard it." I said. "Let's ask the all knowing something here. Hey Akec!"
Akec appeared out of thin air in front of my face.
"Yes. Builder. Sayla her daughter has not yet been given a name. Sayle can not make decisions on her own and therefor she can not decide on a name."
"I guess she is all knowing." Collin said.
I went back into the replicator and searched around. I never really had a good look at it. It was completely blue, with light blue data streams. Every time I touched a stream my head filled with ideas. When I walked forward a bit I saw a light. A light blue light. But it wasn't some light, it was a gathering of all data streams. Or so it seemed. My head started connecting lines a bit and it made actual shapes. A room in a building on a mountain in a cliffside city. All those light blue lines are connected to each other in some way. And those that aren't, are ideas. Ideas just waiting for someone to pick them up and use them. I walked around the city and things started to get more shaped. More... organised. I saw a building that had the word "Mods" on it. I went inside and I saw rows and rows of extensions for my suit. There was a button with a sign "Best" on it. I pressed it and three names of mods appeared. Structures stacking, hovering and electronics.
I searched them in the rows and when I found them a little screen appeared in my face on my helmet. It said "Goals. New Entry?"
I said "Yes" out loud and it started typing everything I thought. "Get mods structure stacking, hovering and electronics, then get back into the replicator. A new field appeared in my goals field. "Resources?"
"Huh, resources?" I looked around the mods and I accidentally touched one. A screen opened up giving the names and quantities of everything I need to trade it in for. I said "Exit" out loud and I got thrown out of the replicator. When I got back, everything was dark. Everyone already left to their homes. It was already late. My helmet showed some numbers and two letters saying 01:35 AM. I have no idea what it means but this was a good opportunity to test my night vision. I thought of night vision and my helmet rendered everything grey. Like different shades of grey all over. I saw everything as clear as I needed. I walked to the map of the building.
"Let's see. Collins lab is on the fourth floor. So I need to take a right and then go down four stairs to the exit." I went down and when I was on the lowest floor, I saw people walking outside.
"How can they walk outside without night vision?" I asked myself. I went outside and I saw terrified faces all over. All staring at me. I guess the suit must have made me somewhat larger because I have to duck to fit trough the door. But why all those terrified faces?
I disabled my night vision and the light of the city in the night shined brightly in my eyes. I got blinded for a minute and started to scream as my eyes hurt. Everyone on the street started to scream and run away from me. When I finally came to everyone was gone and I was sick of wearing my suit for now. Everyone is scared when I wear it when they don't know it's me. That sucks.
I held the button on my chest and my suit disappeared and reformed itself into my arm as the implant again. I touched the implant and it showed me a little holographic screen.
"Specimen implant? What am I a specimen of?" I asked.
I went back home were Autumn was already asleep. I was so tired of going into the replicator a couple of times that when I got in my bed I instantly fell asleep.
