Chapter 7. Misunderstanding

"I'm home."

"Oh welcome back Akari-chan."

"Oh, your home Akari. Good timing, get some clams while you're at it on the beach."

"Wait. How did you know I'll be going to the beach?"

"Yuuto's mom called and said that you, Shouto and Yuuto will be going to the beach."

I groaned.

That Yuuto is quick to take action when it comes to plans.

"Its summer and all so school ended quick. That Yuuto just had to ruin my perfect rest day."

"Cmon, it's no probs. You really should go outside more often. Your skin is paler than mine, and I find that unfair." Huffed Kyoko-san.

"Yuuto literally said the same thing. Well, I'll be in my room preparing things."

"Its still 3:00 so make sure to bring some sunscreen."

"Yea yea got it."

I went to my room to prepare for my stuff.

The beach was just near so I didn't have to rush.

I'm pretty sure there will also be some kids on the beach.

Oh well, not that I mind.

I changed my clothes to a baggy t-shirt and wore jogging pants, then started to prepare my stuff.

After 20 minutes, I went downstairs and headed out.

After walking for 15 minutes, I finally saw the two waiting by a bus stop.

They noticed me and Yuuto started to shout and wave.

"Akari!!"

"Yea yea I hear you."

We headed towards the beach and as expected, there were also some children.

"I heard that these years summer isn't that hot compared to last year." Shouto says as he wipes his sweat off.

"Somehow your words don't match your action." I said.

"Well come to think of it, I think Shouto's correct. Last year around this time, kids wouldn't be coming to the beach at this time."

"Well, at least it isn't that hot."

Arriving at the beach, we opened our beach umbrella and layed down a blanket and put our bags under it.

"Oh Akari-kun and the Minamoto's, visiting the beach as well." Greeted a middle aged lady.

"Ahh, Haibara-san. Yep decided to bring Shouto and Akari out." Huffed Yuuto.

"Oy."

"Haha, nice to be young. The kids also wanted to play at the beach, well at least it isn't that hot compared to last year."

"Mommy look!!! Yuki found a crab!!" A child shouted from afar.

"Well, I better get back. Enjoy your swimming."

After Haibara-san left, we removed our clothes.

Beneath them were our swimwear.

"Akari, your skin is really pale."

"I agree with Yuuto on this one."

"Hey! I'm just really pale ok!"

I was currently topless and wore a really short shorts. I didn't have any other swimwear so I had to go with this.
