Lauren and Mackenzie had just finished moving in all of Lauren's stuff that she took from her apartment and were now hanging out in the living room of Mackenzie's apartment.

Lauren looked up from her magazine, "Don't you think we look like?" she asked putting the magazine next to face for display.

On the magazine there was a picture of Johnny Orlando.

"I mean yeah I can see it." Mackenzie responded looking at Lauren's face, then the magazine, then Lauren's face again. "Plus you have the same last name. Spooky." She joked.
"Ha! Imagine he was my brother or cousin or something." Lauren laughed about the possibilities.

The next day...

"I'm gonna go run a few errands and go to 'Nicks' to let them know I'm not gonna be able to work there anymore! I'll be back later!" Lauren yelled as she left the apartment.
"K!" Mackenzie yelled back barely awake from her bed.

Mackenzie woke up about an hour later and brushed her teeth. She made her way to the kitchen and made a bagel for "breakfast" even though it was 1pm. She watched TV in the living room for a bit but got bored, she was gonna record a cover when she got a text:

Johnny:
Hey "MFZ"

MFZ:
Hey "Johnny"

Johnny:
Ideas?

MFZ:
Love song.
Everyone loves them.

Johnny:
Obviously, anything else?

MFZ:
Nada.

Johnny:
Figured.
What if I told you I liked you?

MFZ:
Johnny we already spoke about this-

Johnny:
NO THE SONG DUMMY!!
That's my idea.

MFZ:
OHH
How would it sound?

Johnny:
Here
(Voice memo thingy)

MFZ:
Ooo I like it.
You have any idea on how you want it to start?

Johnny:
Not really but maybe you can.
Here's a backstory..
Friends right?
So they like each other but don't really know how to tell each other because they are scared that it'll ruin their friendship.

MFZ:
Mhm ok.
So basically like it's a "forbidden subject"

Johnny:
Exactly.

MFZ:
"Let's talk about all the things that we shouldn't talk about
Those kind of words that would change all the things we talk about"

Johnny:
Omg you're good at this..

MFZ:
Did you think I'd be bad—

Johnny:
No it just kinda seemed like you were holding it off.

MFZ:
Not intentionally, I've just been busy.
Anyways, wanna add to that?

Johnny:
Not really it has a good vibe I don't wanna change it or mess it up but I do have something to go before the what if thing (for the chorus).

MFZ:

Johnny:
Yea

MFZ:
K.
Ok so I'm writing this down and so far what we have is.

Johnny:
Well that's good for today.
I've got other songs on my album to write
The way you're acting one might even be about you 😉

MFZ:
Really Johnny.
You're doing it again.

Johnny:
Doing what?

MFZ:
Shameless flirting 😂

Johnny:
Oops.
read 3:23pm

Mackenzie looked at the time it read: 3:25

She thought she should record a cover before Lauren got back. Looking through her playlist took her about half an hour, seeing as though she had so many. None of the songs made her want to cover it. Johnny popped in her head. Mackenzie looked up his songs and found one that she liked, it was called "Everything" she decided to learn it.

Mackenzie recorded herself singing this part of the song:

Mackenzie put her phone down and decided to look at her account's insights on her laptop. The time said 5:47pm. Her account had gained 50,000 followers in the last week. Proud of herself, she put her laptop on the desk and got in the shower.

A few minutes later Lauren walked in.

"Hey Mackenzie I'm back!" she yelled taking off her jacket and putting her things down. "I stopped by Nicks like I said but I also got you a Tuna Melt Wrap! I'll leave it in the kitchen!"
"Okay! Thanks!" Mackenzie yelled back from the shower.

Lauren went in her bag and pulled out a script that she was given. Ugh I need a highlighter. She thought to herself.
"Kenz?! You got a highlighter?!"
"Yea! In my desk drawer!" Mackenzie yelled as she was putting shampoo in her head.

Lauren walked into Mackenzie's room and went for her desk. Looking through the desk drawer she didn't see a highlighter. As she sat down in the desk chair and started looking on the actual desk she noticed something.

The laptop on the desk was on instagram. But the account didn't read: "kenzieg" instead it read: "mfzsings" Lauren knew exactly who MFZ was, she was a fan herself. So at first it was nothing but, next to the username read something that said "edit profile" suddenly it all made sense.

Realizing that she never turned off her computer, Mackenzie jumped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her body and screamed "Wait don't—"
When she ran out of the bathroom, Lauren had the laptop in her hands and said, "Woah."

Lauren looked up from the computer and back at Mackenzie. Mackenzie stood there across the room with shampoo in her hair and a towel staring at Lauren in shock.
