catching feelings..

Johnny had finally arrived at Mackenzie's house in Pittsburgh. He got out of the car and saw that she was still sleeping. He didn't want to wake her up because of how peaceful she looked. To him, it had looked as though she forgot while she was sleeping. He didn't want to be the one to take that away from her.

Johnny picked her up, bridal style and carried her bridal style to her porch. Still carrying her, he rang the doorbell.

Shortly after, Mackenzie's mom had opened the door to let them in.

"She was asleep.. I didn't want to wake her." Johnny said to Mackenzie's mom, Melissa.

Still a little weepy, Melissa said, "Oh don't worry it's fine. You don't have to keep carrying her. Here, follow me." She started walking up the stairs to Mackenzie's old room.

"This is her room, you can put her on the bed." She said watching from the door as Johnny followed her directions.

Johnny carefully placed Mackenzie on the bed and put the covers over her body. He kissed her forehead, got up and began walking out of the room.

"You must be Johnny. She told me about you." Melissa said as followed, closing the door behind her.

Turning around to face her, Johnny asked, "She talks about me?"

"Don't tell her I told you that." Melissa said trying to make light of the situation.

"I won't." Johnny said as they began walking down the stairs and to the kitchen table.

Sitting down at the table Johnny said, "I wish we could have met for the first time on better terms... I'm sorry for your loss."

"Oh, thank you sweetie." Melissa said getting up, "There's a guest room. It's right through the living room, you should walk further down that hallway, past the bathroom. You can stay there tonight." She offered.

"Mrs. Ziegler, if it's alright with you, I'd like to stay in her room tonight, just to make sure she's okay." Johnny asked.

"That's fine too." She said.

About half an hour later, Lauren, Annie, and Asher had arrived.

Melissa was asleep, along with Mackenzie.

Asher, Annie, Lauren, and Johnny were all scattered around Mackenzie's room asleep. Johnny was asleep on her bay window, Lauren was asleep beside her on the bed and Asher and Annie slept on her love sac with about a foot in between them.

Three hours later, Hayden and Landon arrived. Lauren let them in.

Hayden slept across Johnny in the window seat and Landon had found a sleeping bag and placed it in front of the bed.
