Non-Meta Problem

(Part 2 of Meta-problem) 

~~~ Six months later~~~

"Barry?" Felicity said the fact that she had been crying was evident in her voice. "What's wrong?" Barry said. "It's Oliver he's hurt he didn't say why but before he passed out he said call Barry" She said but Barry had already hung up and was next to Felicity in the arrow cave. "What happened? Where's Ollie" Barry said. "The hospital I was going there now" She said. " What happened?" Barry said. "It was Chase he stabbed him" She said and Barry grabbed her and they were at the hospital in seconds. Barry asked to see Oliver and the nurse said that only immediate family could see him. "He doesn't have any in town" Barry said. "Only family" The nurse said. "I'm his boyfriend" Barry said shocking Felicity. "Please" Barry said. The nurse sighed "Fine" she said letting him into Oliver's room. He walked over and held the unconscious Oliver's hand. Felicity walked in sneakily shutting the door. " she walked away" Felicity said as she could see Barry's confusion. He nodded looking back down at Oliver. "Are you two really dating?" She asked and Barry nodded "Six months now" Barry said trying not to cry as he looked down at his hurt boyfriend. Felicity gently rubbed Barry's back. "Don't worry he'll be okay he's too stubborn to die" She said making Barry smile. "Damn right" Oliver coughed. "Ollie" Barry said standing from the chair he had sat in. "I'm okay Bear," He said his voice hoarse. Barry smiled softly as Oliver opened his eyes looking up at Barry. "We're gonna find Chase" Barry said. "That I have no doubt" Oliver said. "Just don't get hurt" He said. "Look whos talking" Barry said. Oliver smiled a genuine soft smile something Felicity had only half seen. "That's fair" Oliver said and Barry leaned down kissing Oliver softly smiling down at him as they broke apart. Felicity smiled warmly at the couple. "Sorry to interrupt but Curtis has a location on Chase," She said. Barry nodded looking back at Oliver. "Be careful he's dangerous" Oliver said. "I've got this" Barry said. Oliver nodded and Barry kissed Oliver softly "Run Barry, run" Oliver said and Barry was off. He grabbed Felicity and dropped her at the bunker and put his suit on. "Where am I going" He said. Curtis gave him the address and dig checked his gun. "We'll back you up" he said. "I've got it" Barry said and Felicity grabbed him before he could take off. "What has Oliver taught you" She snapped making him sigh. "Don't run in blind" He said. "And" She said. "And don't go without backup if you can help it" he said. "Exactly. I know you want to get this guy after what he did but don't let yourself get upset about Oliver and do something stupid" she said and Barry nodded. "I'll go check the place out I'll meet you there" He did accepting the com Citrus handed to him before he bolted. Once the team got there he informed them of the situation and they were able to take chase down. Barry was exhausted and he debated on going to Oliver's but decided he'd rather be at the hospital with Ollie so that where he went. Oliver was sleeping when he got there. He smiled and sat in the chair next to him gently lacing his fingers with Oliver which woke the alert archer up. He looked over at Barry and smiled tiredly and carefully moved himself over making room for Barry on the bed who happily obliged and curled up next to Oliver, lying his head on Oliver's shoulder. Oliver kissed his head softly "how'd it go" Oliver asked softly. "Chase is in Argus custody" He said softly. Oliver smiled and kissed his head again. "Get some sleep love you must be tired" Oliver said softly. Barry nodded and snuggled closer to Oliver as he drifted off to sleep, Oliver following shortly after.
