JUGHEAD POV

Yup, it had only gotten worse. Betty ignored me the entire school week and it was back to the way it was. I didn't even try to talk to her anymore though, but I'm so sorry for everything. Today we were going to the hospital and visiting patients by hanging out with them for the day.

"Alright guys, some of you guys are gonna be put with adults, teenagers, or kids. I don't know which ones but I have my room numbers right here. *Says all numbers* last but not least, Jughead and Betty, you guys are going to be in room 212." Henry nodded. Betty glared at me and then we walked to the elevator to go to floor 2.

"So...nice weather today, huh?" I asked.

"What do you want want from me? I mean seriously, what could you possibly want?"

"At least you're talking to me." I shrugged. Betty scoffed and shook her head. We got to the 2nd floor and went to room 212. We saw a little girl holding a teddy bear. We went into the room and Betty sat on the edge of the bed.

"Hi, what's your name?" Betty smiled.

"Anna, whats your name?" Anna smiled.

"My name is Betty, and this is my partner Jughead. Can you tell us about yourself, Anna?"

"I'm 10-years old and I have Stage 3, Lung Cancer. I was diagnosed when I was 7. I have a little brother named Michael. I really wanna be Veterinarian when I grow up!"

"That's super cool! I'm actually going to college to be a Surgeon." Betty smiled widely. Anna smiled widely as well.

"Is that boy right there your boyfriend?" Anna asked and pointed at me.

"No, he's a scumbag. Stay away from boys like him. He likes to do really illegal things and that's why he's here right now! Isn't that right, Jughead Jones?" Betty nodded. I gave a sarcastic thumbs up. After taking for 10 minutes, Betty left the room to go to the bathroom and I sat down in Betty's spot.

"Jughead?"

"Yes Anna?"

"Why are you and Betty fighting? Why do you guys hate each other?" Anna asked.

"I couldn't ever hate her...she has more kindness in her finger than anyone's does in their heart. Let's just say that I've done really mean things to her."

"Why?"

"There's something really wrong with me. I didn't something illegal and I got here. I had bullied her for years before Community Service. We became really close, but I screwed it all up again. All because I wanted approval from my friends." I sighed.

"They don't sound like friends. Friends aren't people who encourage you to do bad. Stay loyal to the one who really cares about you, and never let them go. The doctors don't think I have more than 2-years to live...but they don't tell me that only my parents. Then my parents tell me and I'm not scared. 'Make A Wish' needs me to make a wish, but I have no clue what to do yet."

"Stay strong, Anna. It'll get better and you won't have to be in the hospital anymore. You should achieve your dreams...become a veterinarian." I nodded. Anna smiled at me and then Betty came back in.

"I'm sorry I had to leave you with him, Anna. I hope he wasn't too obnoxious." Betty gritted her teeth.

"Actually, He was talking about how kind and beautiful you were. It seems like he really likes you."

Betty rolled her eyes and we continued hanging out with Anna. Then it was 3PM, and we had to go home. I stepped outside and it started pouring down rain. I didn't have a vehicle and it would take 10 minutes to get to the bus station. A car pulled up to me and Betty was in it.

"Betty-"

"Get in scumbag. I'd feel bad if I left you out here...are you getting in or not?" Betty sassed. I got in the car and it was just pretty quiet during the car ride.

"So..." I started off. Betty didn't say anything to me, I really messed up.

"I'm really sorry, Betty. I've always wanted approval from my friends and I shouldn't have poured pigs blood on you. You're so perfect-"

"Let me stop you right there. I'm done with your sorry speeches. If you're actually sorry, you'll show it. Until then, I can't stand you. You really hurt me and I'll never forget about the play. It also wasn't just me you hurt...it was Kevin who worked hard to prepare and the other cast members. We didn't even get to finish the play because of you. Actions speak louder than words." Betty said. We got to the trailer park and I set $20 on my seat. I went into my home...and thought of a way that screams "Actions Speak Louder Than Words"
