JUGHEAD POV

A couple weeks went by and it was time for prom night. It was for Juniors and Seniors, and I was a Junior so it was my first year going to prom. I put on my suit and grabbed the corsages. I went in my truck and drove to Betty's house. I knocked on the door and Ms. Cooper let me in.

"Thank you, Ms. Cooper. Last time we saw each other was when you came at me with a shotgun."

"You called my daughter hot."

"She is." I muttered under my breath. We looked up and saw Betty walk down the stair. She was in a pink gown and her hair was half-up and curly.

"How do I look?" Betty asked.

"Like an angel." I said. She came downstairs and I put the corsage on her wrist. She put the corsage on my suit. Her mother took a couple pictures of us and then we got in my truck.

"It's not a limo...but it's something." I said.

"I don't care if it's a limo! I only care about you and this dance so we better get going." Betty smiled. We chuckled and I drove to the prom. We met up with our friends and got pictures and danced a lot. It was definitely a night to never forget. The best part of it was when they announced prom queen and prom king.

"This years prom queen and king are...Elizabeth Cooper and Archie Andrews!" Weatherbee announced. Betty and Archie screamed and hugged. They ran up on to the stage and then Veronica came up to me.

"So...how many times did you vote for her?"

"175 times." I smiled. We laughed and then they came back down from the stage and Betty hugged me.

"Do you wanna go get a milkshake at Pops with me, Juggie?" Betty asked. I nodded and we went to Pops. She got a strawberry milkshake and I got a vanilla one.

"Tonight was fun." Betty smiled.

"Yeah, it was. We have Senior year and then you'll be off to college?" I asked. Betty sighed and nodded. I took her hand.

"I promise, I'll wait for you."

"Juggie, I'll be in school for 8-years."

"Then I'll wait for 8-years, 96 months, 2,920 days... as long as I can have my future with you...I'll be ok. I can get us a house and I'll work a lot-"

"You really want to have a future with me?"

"More than anything in this world. I love you."

"I love you too."
