You couldn't even remember the last time you had Jax all to yourself for a whole night where there was no drama, no danger, and he didn't need to be somewhere early in the morning. It was little things like getting to spend a simple night with your old man, staying home, goofing around, and eventually getting some food into your system, that made you happy.

"Hope you like your steak medium rare," Jax looked over at you from the grill smiling.

You were curled up on one of the lawn chairs nursing a beer, "Only way to enjoy a steak babe," you smiled back, standing to grab the plate your brought out to put the meat on, and holding it out for him to use.

"Come on darlin', I'll serenade you under the stars," he teased, draping his arm around you as he lead you inside.

"Hah! I'll believe that when I see it," you set the plate on the kitchen counter, transferring one of the steaks onto another plate.

"I can sing...ish," he smirked, walking over to you, reaching down to caress your chin, "why, you want me to sing for you sweetheart?"

Those devilish blue eyes of his were nothing but trouble since the day you met him, you pulled him closer to you, "No, but I do want you to grab the steak sauce from the top shelf Justin Timberlake, I'm vertically challenged."

"Oh, you have jokes now do you?" He laughed pulling you up slightly to kiss you deeply, nipping at your bottom lips slightly before pulling away.

"Don't start things you can't finish Mr. Teller," that little bit had you all flustered.

"Let me eat first then I'll get back to you on that," he teased.

"You swatted his arm, making him yelp playfully before he reached up to open the cabinet.

Dinner was engulfed, and now the both of you were curled up on the couch, too full to even move.

"So much for finishing what we started," you both laughed as you reached over to rub his stomach.

"Sorry darlin' if I move too much, I'm going to pop, and I don't think you want the walls covered in outlaw."

You smiled, "It's okay baby, I'm fine right where I am," you closed you eyes and continued absentmindedly drawing circles on Jax's stomach.

He looked down at you and smiled, kissing the top of your head before closing his eyes as well, "Yeah, me too darlin', me too."
