"This is the last one," Jax set the box of ornaments down beside you.

With Thomas in your arms,

"Thank you daddy," you replied with a chuckle upon noticing his shirtlessness. "Not cold?"

Abel giggled from the other side of the tree, causing Jax to smile.

"It's California babe."

"Mm-hmm," you smirked, reaching with your free hand to ruffle his shaggy wet hair.

"Okay, okay," he playfully bit at your hand. "Who's ready to go see Santa?!" He shouted from the hallway as he hopped over to retrieve a shirt.

"Me! Me!" Abel excitingly yelled out.

All while Thomas replied with some rather enthusiastic babbled and squeals. They're pure joy made you beam over at the now fully clothed Jax who matched your same expression.

Leaning down, he tenderly pulled you in for a kiss, after sweetly pecking the top of Thomas' head.

"Never thought I'd have to step foot in a place like this again," Jax remarked while taking in his first view of the seemingly crowded shopping mall. Slightly, he tightened his hold around his youngest son in his arms.

Glancing over at the slight discomfort in his eyes, you nodded over to Abel, "Don't let go of mommy's hand okay?"

He nodded in obedience, being around this many people was new to him as well.

"Alright, let's go find Santa," Jax's tone lightened.

"Santa!" Abel shouted.

"Anta!" Thomas laughed.

Across the sea of people you searched for the festive little hut that the jolly man was to be at and if it weren't for Jax's towering height it would have taken you much longer to finally lay eyes on it.

A breath of relief filled your lungs when Jax exclaimed his discovery.

"We're almost there guys."

Abel squealed in joy as he hopped up and down in a frenzy of excitement.

"Oh thank god," you were finally able to catch a glimpse, "there's barely a line."

It only took one bathroom break and a diaper change to make it to the front. You lead the now timid and shy Abel to the big man in red and white with the smile on his face.

Jax on the other hand edged closer and closer to Santa, coaxing the little Thomas to not freak out, but once he tried to set him on Santa's lap, the toddler only proceeded to cry. Cooing in order to calm your little one down, it was apparent that he wasn't having it.

"Dad why don't you hold onto him for the picture, I think he likes you better," Santa light heartedly joked as Abel continued telling him his wish list.

"Alright everyone," the "elf" working the camera called out, "Smile!"

"Oh wait, mom, aren't you going to join us?" Santa exclaimed.

Freezing for a millisecond in your spot next to the "elf" you hadn't even thought about getting into the picture.

"Yeah, come on mommy," Jax cheekily smirked.

Which you couldn't even return before Abel began to call out for you as well.

"Alright, alright," you chuckled, scurrying over opposite side of Jax.

"Everybody say 'Yeti'!"
