WEEK LATER-

It's a week later since Milani had went to her moms house. If I couldn't really care for my best friend, I knew her mom could. Her mom could lead her far more than I could. And yes I've been hearing from her and she's doing so good for the little bit of time she's been trying to progress. I'm proud of her.

"Hey babe wake up.." I trailed off kicking Keith. It was pretty late. 2:33 am. I just miss my friend and need someone to talk to.

"Yes bae ?.." His sleepy voice was the sexiest to me and he knew that. He turned over, facing me, and smiled.

"I miss Milani." I sighed, me and her have been through so much together. But she's made bad decisions. I'm not perfect but I want her to get it together.

"We all do Mila . We all do." "Come closer to me baby. I wanna hold you."

I scooted closer to him and felt so safe in his arms. When me and him were close I felt on top of the world. I hope we really last forever.

"Keith.. you're so amazing."

His lips widened as he smiled at me and laughed.

"Baby that's all you. Do you wanna go somewhere?" He asked me.

"Baby right now?"

"Yes. Just put on some shorts and your slides." He said getting out of bed.

I didn't know exactly where he'd take me because I mean it's 2 AM. I had been thinking of Milani so much. It's a scary thing to go through. I was mainly upset that I didn't see the signs of it all.

She's just been at her worst lately. I didn't ever want to witness it.

I got dressed and fixed my hair. By the time I finished me and Keith were about to walk outside.

"Baby." He spoke softly.

"Yeah?" I responded

"Everything will be okay and I want you to keep that in mind please." He assured me. I smiled and nodded. It was easy to believe him and his words. We got into the truck and pulled out of the driveway.

"Where are we going baby?" I asked confused as ever. He hummed his favorite song instead of answering as if he didn't hear. "Keith tell me." I demanded.

"You'll see." He drove with one hand and held mine with his other.
