Chapter 2: Chase
Anna...Anna...the first girl that I fell in love with and the last girl that I have officially dated since I met Andi. Shit, Andi and I turned to face my girlfriend to see her looking at me with understanding in her eyes. I couldn't help but notice how Andi and Anna are completely different from each other. Where Anna was blond, Andi was a true brunette with highlights that shines in the sunlight. Where Anna eyes were green with innocence, Andi's were deep aqua blue that held too many secrets and experience for anyone to understand.
"I'm going to take Eliza upstairs," Andi said softly and left, without a glance at me.
Anna, however, turned to look at me with a smile that used to melt my heart and stood from her chair.
"Long time no see Chase," she greeted me and pulled me into a hug.
I hug her back and smiled, "It's been awhile. How are you?"
"Good, you know, been there, done that," she replied and I narrowed my eyes.
"Can I talk to you privately for a moment?" she asked me seriously and I shrugged and led her to the empty living room.
"What's up?" I asked her and sat down on the couch.
She took a seat next to me, a little bit too close, and I moved a little. Anna caught that and looked at me with a mischievous smile that clearly said "game on."
"Anna-" I was about to say I have a girlfriend who is pissed off at me right now and can kick my ass from here to China when she stopped me by putting her fingers on my lips.
"I just want to tell you that I miss you Chase. The guys that I've dated can't ever replace you," she said with wide eyes.
I raised an eyebrow, "You mean the guys that you had one night stands with."
The reason I dumped her was because I caught her in bed with someone else, though she swore that she thought it was me she was with. After that, I was left heartbroken and found that girls were nothing more put toys. You hook up with them, have a one night stand, and then forget their name. Hell, I don't even remember their faces the next day.
"Oh, don't be dramatic, Chase. You know I can only love you," she sighed and ran her fingers through my hair.
I flinched and stood up from the couch, "Dammit, Anna, I freaking don't love you anymore, got it?"
She smirked and sighed, "Denial. Then explain to me why you still have a picture of us in your drawer?"
"You went through my stuff?" I asked, totally pissed off.
"You're not going to deny that, are you? I know somewhere deep in your heart, you still love me and want us to be together again," she purred and walked up to me, while I stood my ground and glared at her.
Though I know that Anna is a bitch and whore at heart, there was still a part of me that still long for her presence. Though it was small, because Andi took up the rest of my heart.
"Come on, Chase, I'm here again. What are you waiting for?" she said seductively.
Anna, my seductress as well as my damnation.
"You know you want it, Chase. Don't deny us any longer," she purred and ran an arm down my chest.
I smiled and whispered, "Anna..."
She smiled back and pressed her lips to mine and squished her chest towards her mines like it was glued together. Got you, I thought. Before she could even blink, I maneuver her around, and slam her to the wall with her arms bounded to her back.
"Don't even think about, Anna. I hate you," I chuckled and pulled away and headed towards the stairs.
"Oh, Chase, you of all people should know that love and hate is right next to each other and there is only a thin veil to keep them apart. I wonder what would happen if that thin veil break," she chuckled as I walk upstairs, looking for my girl.
***Quick question: What do you think Anna is going to do? And how will Andi respond? (: Thanks for reading you guys!***
