I'm woken by the bright sun shining through the living room curtains, and the apparent coldness of the house. The alcohol kept us warm last night, and now it's disappeared out of my system, I'm freezing.

I stretch and yawn, sitting up. I'm on the sofa lying next to Paul, and I don't have a top on and neither does he. I frown and grab my top, pulling it on. Then, I remember what happened  last night. Paul and I were kissing and I was topless and George saw us and it was awkward and I wanted to die just a little.

I can't believe I was planning on having sex with Paul. Well, not planning on it, but it very nearly happened. I get up, careful not to wake Paul, who's quiff is messy and flat with his lips slightly parted. I admire him for a moment, before heading to the bathroom.

I splash my face with water and brush my teeth, then I decide to look in the mirror for the first time. I shriek at the sight, both sides of my neck are entirely covered in love bites. I pull the top of my blouse down slightly and see more along my collarbones. Great. Mum will literally kill me. She has no problem with boyfriends; but doing anything remotely inappropriate is completely off limits in her eyes.

'Yikes, Eva'

I hear Paul from behind me; he's laughing and I notice him behind me in the mirror. He stands behind me and looks at himself in the mirror, combing through his hair with his fingers to regain his quiff.

He notices me watching him and smirks at me,

'Enjoying the view?'

The truth is that I am very much enjoying the view, he's still topless and it's annoying how good he looks first thing in the morning. Instead of boosting his ego anymore, I sneer,

'What view?'

He laughs and kisses my head,

'Sorry we got interrupted last night'

I'm relieved we did, in hindsight I would regret doing anything more than kissing Paul,

'It's fine'

I smile as genuinely as I can and he kisses my lips. I hear thudding coming down the stairs followed by more thudding. Alice and George are awake. I pull away from him and head to the kitchen,

'Breakfast'

He follows behind me and we find Alice and George waiting for us. Both of them are laughing amongst themselves, and George's arm is around Alice. I'm gonna be honest, last night I didn't think it was going so well, but it seems times have changed.

I give Alice a knowing look and she returns it. Then she looks at my neck and her eyes widen and she opens her mouth to speak before Paul speaks,

'What's for breakfast then?'

'Well, there's not much here, to be honest'

George speaks up,

'We could go to Eva's mum's café? I'll pay'

I cannot risk seeing my mum without having any makeup on, especially not with as many people around as the café will. I cringe,

'The café is closed on Sunday's'

Alice frowns,

'No it's not what are you-'

I glare at her and nod downwards a hopeful gesture to my neck, and thankfully she catches on,

'Oh yes! Of course it is!'

George raises an eyebrow but doesn't question it, then he notices my neck and I see his eyes widen. Luckily, Paul starts talking about food again,
