~Arlie P.O.V.~
"So what's going to happen now?" Ivette asked. We were laying down on the couch, just talking about everything that we've been through since the day I left her. I learned she'd been with Rico for all these 20 or so years, by his side while he fed her lies. He was using her as a decoy so wardens wouldn't find him suspicious because he was talking to gang members. When Ivette would go to visit and talk to him, it made Rico seem normal to the eyes of the Warden.
Slick shit Rico. I give you that.
"I don't know. IRG, NBG, and WTE are gonna figure out something tomorrow-"
"No. I mean what's going to happen between us? After tonight are you just going to be scarce and I never hear from you again for another 20 years?" She asked quietly but with sadness weight her voice down.
"Why does it matter if I'm around or not? It really shouldn't."
"I still care about you." Lord, kill me and take me away now. Just strike me down with a lightening bolt and take my ass so far away. "I remember those dates we went on, how much fun we had-"
"Ivette, you gotta let that go. You know my situation."
"You weren't saying that when we would sneak off, while you were with Heather." I also wasn't saying that when I would sneak with Heather while I was with you.

Long story, short; We ended up getting high. We were talking about the past some more and I didn't want to deal with the pain that came when talking about Heather and she didn't like the Rico shit, so we rolled a few and now we're stoned.
There were many shots involved but I felt pretty good right now.
"I haven't been this high since before my daughter was born." I said when she came back with two spoons and a tub of vanilla ice cream.
"19 years?" I nodded. "Wow, this must feel new to you."
"Kinda does." But I like it. She turned on the TV and snuggled up next to me, placing the tub of ice cream between us. "What are we watching?" My eyes couldn't even focus on the TV correctly, I found myself constantly rubbing my eyes.
"Lifetime I think." She shrugged. "I really miss you." She said looking over at me.
"I know you do. I don't understand why because I cheated on you." I've got that warm fuzzy feeling running all the way through me.
"But you were so great." She said with a little slur in the back of her voice. "But I do miss Rico." She said starting to cry again.
"Ivette, stop the crying. Rico ain't care about you." I laid back against the arm rest and kicked my feet up onto the rest of the couch. "He just used you." My head is really killing me right now. I closed my eyes and placed my hands over my eyes.
I heard the tub of ice cream and spoons fall off the couch and felt the couch cushions move and then I'm assuming Ivette climbed on me.
"What are you doing?" I asked, laughing a little bit.
"I want a hug." I snuck a peek through my hands and watched her wrap her arms around my neck and lay her head on my chest. "Your heart is so slow." She chuckled.
"Ivette, I don't feel good, you needa let go." She picked up her head and just looked at me, biting a corner of her lip like as if she was thinking if she should say something or not. "Ivette, seriously."
