~Chris P.O.V.~
~That Evening~
I've been laying in bed all day long. Not getting up once and I had tear stains rolling from the outer corners of my eyes.
Chelsea left not too long ago but not another word was said between us. There was a knock on my front door but I really didn't care to see who it was, I just want to lay here by myself for a while longer.
"Breezy! Yvonne asked me to bring M.C. home to you, so here he is!" I heard Trey yell from downstairs. "Breezy?! Where you at?!" I said nothing. I just continued to lay on my back with my hands behind my head.
His footsteps getting closer till he was standing at my door.
"Holy shit, Chris? What happened?" He asked walking up to the side of the bed. "Are you crying? Chris, the fuck happened?"
"Nothin'." I didn't even want to talk about it. "Thanks for bringin' M.C. home, though." I closed my eyes with another deep breath.
"You got me worried, what happened. You know I won't say shit to anyone if it's that important."
"She was pregnant, Trey. With my child and then she went and did the unthinkable without even letting me know."
"Chelsea?" I nodded. "She wouldn't-"
"She did. I just want to be alone right now. It ain't nothin' against you but I just wanna be by myself." I heard the small steps of M.C. and felt him hop on the bed, laying next to me.
"Aight. Just hit me up if you need me. Whether it be to talk or come over." I nodded my head and heard his footsteps carry him out of the room and the sound of the front door closing.
Laying here, I don't understand how some niggas actually demand their female to get an abortion. I'm over here actually shedding a few tears because I was told my child was cheated at life.
I can't understand. I really can't.

I woke up to the smell of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and things of that nature. I could hear the grease popping from the kitchen and I became curious.
I got out of bed and walked downstairs. M.C. was right at my heels as I got to the kitchen.
"Mama? What are you doing here?" The bright lights in the kitchen, blinded me, much like Lolo's old hot pink bathroom.
"You look awful. Trey called me and said I should stop by. Your eyes are swollen and red, have a seat." She walked over and pulled me down into a chair. "What's wrong?"
"Trey didn't tell you?" She shook her head. "I really don't want to say it again. It's just, my child was cheated at life. I'm leaving it there." She dropped her spatula and looked up at me. "Can we please not talk about it?" She nodded.
"Well, here's your plate. What do you want to drink?" She placed a large plate in front of me and I just stared at it. "Christopher?"
"I'm not hungry but thanks." This is why I hate crying. If even one tear is shed because I'm that sad, everyone starts to baby me and that's what I hated. "I'm gonna take M.C. out on a walk. Can you hand me the lighter and box of cigarettes in that top cabinet?" I asked, standing up from the table.
"I thought you quit-"
"I did but I need one. I'm out, feel free to stay or leave. I just don't even care at this point anymore but thanks Mom for doing all this." I grabbed the lighter and box, then gave her a hug before heading outside. I held the door open and M.C. came running out, the sound of his chains hitting each other with each little jump or quick burst of a run.
