~Varo P.O.V.~
I'm guessing a few minutes passed by but I woke back up, laying chest down on the ground.
I had excruciating pain shoot through my back and stomach when I tried to move. I took a deep breath and forced myself to get to my hands and knees. Shaking as I held myself up, I looked down to see my shirt completely drenched in blood and a small pool of it was on the floor, underneath me.
"Marco!" I called out. I waited but heard nothing. "Marco!" I yelled again. But, it was dead silent. I grabbed onto the couch and pulled myself up, biting my lip as the pain branched out through my body.
Taking small steps and using the furniture to keep my balance, I walked down the hall and turned the corner to see Marco laying on the ground in a puddle of his own blood.
"Marco! No!" I yelled, dropping down to the ground , the sheer force was detrimental but I only focused on Marco. I dragged myself to his body and began shaking him. "Marco! Please! You can't do this to m-me!" I started to cough up blood but ignored it as I kept doing everything to wake him up. "P-Please, Marco." My voice so high, so shrill and so thick with blood.
"Where y'all at?!" I heard Sage's voice echo from the front room.
"The h-hall." I said as I just held up Marco's limp upper body. I wrapped my arms around him and just hugged him. Crying hard, to where it hurt to heave. "M-Marco, p-please. I need y-you." I continued to cry, holding him tighter.
"Oh shit! Varo, you both need to get to the hospital-"
"I think it's too late for M-Marco." I said looking up at Sage and back down at Marco.
"Nah, I got an ambulance on the way. Varo, put this cloth on the gun shot wound and let go of Marco." I shook my head. "Let go of him, Varo, he needs to be sitting up."
"I ain't letting him go, Sage!" He just let out a sigh and hooked my shoulders, pulling me, carefully away from Marco. "Stop! Let me have my last moments with-"
"Alvaro. You're gonna put this damn cloth on your stomach and you're gonna let me get help for Marco." He demanded, handing me the cloth and stepping over my body, flipping Marco's over, so he was laying face up. "He's still got a weak pulse, he probably has a concussion or something. What the fuck happened in this house?" He asked, putting a cloth on Marco's wound and pressing it on his skin.
"Jazz runs Rico's black gang. I thought Marco was in on it so I came here to murk him. He told me he didn't know, we were gonna go over to IRG's trap but Jazz showed up and shot me. I guess he went and shot Marco too." I said wiping away my tears with the back of my hand.
"Varo. Why on Earth would Marco go against your gang." He said giving me a hard stare. As is he was scolding me rather, than demanding a question.
"Look at Eddy-"
"Eddy rolled with Jairo. We all saw that coming. Marco was smarter than that. Marco has so much respect for you, why would he go against you." I was quiet and just looked at him. "Because you know he wouldn't. I get you were heated but you were in the wrong to come over here with the motive to kill your own blood brother."
"I already know I'm no good. I should be dead right now but instead I'm suffering in agony from a gun shot wound." I looked up at the ceiling and felt a stray tear roll down my cheek, creeping down my neck and soaking into the blood stained collar of my shirt.
"This is karma saying, look what you almost did. You almost just killed your brother for no reason. I know I didn't raise you like that." Because you didn't. You raised better morals into me.
