~Nelle Bells P.O.V.~
"What are you doing?" I asked, walking into the kitchen. Lexis quickly closed his laptop. "You got 5 seconds to tell me." I said giving him the death stare.
"Out of curiosity- and by all means, I'll tell you what I was really doing- but what do you think I was doing?"
"I asked the question first."
"I just want to know how well you know me as your husband." Oh, we're doing this huh?
"Based on the fact I see lotion on the table and you quickly shut your laptop. I assume you were watching-"
"I thought you knew me. You clearly don't. I was talking to Chewy." He opened the laptop and sure enough he was talking to Chewy. "I just put the lotion there as a decoy and you fell right for it. You wonder why I feel like you 'ont know me, this is why."
"You are so over dramatic. Any woman who walked into the room would have just naturally assumed that. You're ridiculous. The lengths you go to for the dumbest things." I said as I opened the refrigerator and looked around for my yogurt.
"Why would I resort to that when I got you? This is why we have arguments." I just rolled my eyes. "There's a reason why "For The Road" is our song-"
"Lexis, our song has nothing to do with this." I said laughing. "Do I need to remind you of all the bullshit for those first 13 years?" He shook his head. "That's why "For The Road" is our song, not because I assumed you were watching porn." Sometimes I feel like I married a 13 year old. I love Lexis, but there are times, where I crave to see his birth certificate.
"I'm finding us a new song. Don't suggest anything." I just face palmed myself. "Where are the little ones? It's hella quiet."
"Napping. I'm going out with Jay for a little while." I was going to enjoy my yogurt but I couldn't find it so forget it.
"Where y'all goin'?" What are he and Chewy talking about? It has Lexis typing a lot and that has me curious.
"Probably to some grill and bar restaurant in town. What are you and Chewy talking about?"
"Russian Order Brides-"
"Lexis!"
"For Chewy! Why would I need a bride? I got you don't I? Damn, I'm not actually getting one. I'm getting him a life size doll but I'm telling him I'm getting him a Russian Bride." Just a few days ago he was serious and involved in a gang war. Now, he's on the computer about to order a life size doll. All I did was close the laptop and carry it with me upstairs.
"Do something productive!" I called out from the top of the stairs. I put the laptop in my nightstand- Lexis never looks in because he's too lazy to walk over to my side and look through. Not like he'd find anything anyways.
"I was! Nelle! That's messed up!" He whined. The front door opened and I heard the sound of footsteps fill the house.
I got downstairs and nearly died when I saw DeShawn.
"Hi DeShawn!" I yelled, pulling him in for a tight hug. "I miss you so much! What are you doing here?!"
"Surprise visit. Real quick, you wouldn't happen to know where Leah is huh?" Lexis and I looked at each other and shook our heads.
"When she become relevant?" Lexis asked.
"Rio was all by himself when I showed up there. He's with Lolo right now but I thought you might know?" What?
