~Sweets P.O.V.~

I sat there in the chair next to Varo's bed, holding his hand because he didn't ever want me to let go. I found that to be incredibly cute.

"I begged you not to get involved." He said with a pout. His eyes looked drained and tired but I knew he wasn't going to go to sleep for a while.

"Yes you did but I wasn't about to sit back. You were supposed to stay here but because you didn't, you ruined your stitches." I said back to him. "Are you at least feeling better?"

"A lot better since you're with me. Where's Natalia?" His brow moved up slightly.

"With her Aunt Tilly Beans back at home." I let out a yawn and laid my head down on his shoulder.

"Awe, I want her here with me." He said so sadly. "Any word on Marco?"

"I haven't heard anything. I tried to visit him but they said I wasn't allowed in the room." I found that to be bullshit. I'm family, I should have been allowed to see Marco.

"I hope he's gonna be okay. I don't know what I'll do if he dies." He said running his free hand over his hair.

"Don't think like that. Marco will be just fine. You should really get some rest though. You heard your doctor say, you need to really get rest. I'll be right here, holding your hand all night." I said with a smile and a small chuckle.

"You better be, I'll be depressed if you're gone." He smirked at me.

"I'm just gonna make a quick call to Tilly Beans and I'll be right back here, alright?" He nodded his head, so I slipped out of the room and called Tilly Beans.

"Aye Sweets, how are you?" She said on the second ring.

"I'm alright. How are you and Natalia?"

"We're great. When are you coming home?"

"I'm staying with Varo. He doesn't want to be here alone or for me to leave his side, so I'm just gonna spend the night with him." Family is very big to Varo, and when his family is affected, it puts him in almost like a vulnerable state.

"Awe! Poor Varo, alright, well I'm just gonna be here with Natalia. We'll talk in the morning, I need to put her to bed."

"Thanks a bunch-"

"No need for the thanks, we're best friends, it's what we do for each other."

"Love you both."

"Love you too, bye Sweets."

"Bye Tilly Beans." I hung up the phone and put the phone back in my pocket, then headed back into the room.

"Did you really scoot over?" I asked looking at him.

"I wanted you on my bed, sleeping next to me." He smiled, motioning for me to get on the bed. I slipped off my shoes and crawled on the bed, careful to not accidentally pull a wire of his.

He wrapped his arm around me and held me close. I let out a yawn and rested my head on his shoulder, falling asleep.

~Breezy P.O.V.~

~The Next Morning~

I woke up feeling like shit. It's already 7:40 and I got work in twenty. There ain't no way I can get ready in twenty, hell no. I still need to drive back home from Mama's, so Romeo will just have to save his bitching, I got a legit reason this time.
