One month had passed and you all were today was the precious day, the day you had been waiting for, it seemed as if years had passed, you desired for this day and your desired was to be fulfilled. Today was the day when you would be flying a jet by your own. Now you became a fighter pilot. After all of those simulations and training you finally got accepted to be trained to ride a jet in real life. You were nervous and scared but you knew that God was there with you so you had nothing to worry about and you literally prayed to God the entire night for a safe flight. You had full hope that God would accept your prayers. You wanted to be the best pilot in the world. This was your dream. You dream was to fight for your country with full passion. You wanted yourself to be, with the help of God, the best one to show patriotism for your country and this was the day, in one hour, you would be sitting in the fighter jet and flying it.
Sonya,Sofia,Harry,James and Newt became your friends. Newt started talking to you often. He wasn't that quiet after all.
You got ready, wore your uniform, and got out of your comfort zone. You were beyond ecstatic. You were nervous but you were excited as well. You got out of your room, you had to do breakfast.So, you sat on the breakfast table and ate your breakfast."Are you nervous?" You looked up and you saw Newt."Yeah.....a bit.""Be careful. Okay?""Yeah I will try my best. I don't want to die without doing anything. I know God is with me." He looked at you and started to eat his own breakfast. He too was wearing the uniform because you both were going to fly together except in seperate jets."Don't do anything stupid."Newt said. He was still a bit rude but he cared for you. You just nodded. You were continously moving your leg up and down. "Can't you feel anything?"You asked him."I do but I don't show them.""Do you have a kind of military past? I mean you look so serious and you don't really talk.""That is a story for another time.""Okayyy."
"Hurry up.We have to go." You both got up and went towards your rooms to wash your hands and stuff.You got out of your room to find Newt leaning against the door, with his arms folded."You could've gone without me.""Nah...You would have been lost by now and besides it's not that I hate you." You guys went outside towards the wing commander (insert any name). You guys got ready, checked your jets for any faults from the outside and for the first time in your life you sat in it. You awed, it was breath-taking."Don't marvel too much." Newt said in his monotone voice. You wore your helmet, your heart was beating fast second by second. You closed the gigantic capsule( don't know what to call it.) like thingy, which was made up of glass. You saw Newt do the same. You turned on the switches for the various devices such as engine and what not. You were feeling that it was your job to protect your country in the skies. As you heard the voice of the jet turning on you prayed and looked at the sky. You looked at Newt and he gave you thumbs-up, you did the same. You fixed your microphone and heard familiar voices.""Pilot (y/n) do you hear me?"" Yes."you were about to fly (y/c/j/n)(your country's any jet's name). You exhaled deeply and then out of the blue you heard Newt's voice." It's going to be okay.....(y/n)." His voice sounded comforting to you and you looked over to see and saw him looking at you. He nodded and you nodded back. You put your hand firmly on the device which would help you in moving and for the take-off of the jet.(don't know what to call it 😅). You and Newt both started going to your respective runways. You both accelerated the plane and after acquiring a reasonable momentum you pulled the device and you felt yourself rising in the air. You awed but you were scared too much that your hands started shaking. "Pilot (y/n) I need you to relax and focus.""Okay."You relaxed and looked out and saw an amazing view. Everything was looking so tiny and ........just .,.........it couldn't be described, it was breathless. You gained control of the plane and held onto the device for dear life. You steadied the plane. "Pilot (y/n) I need you to move in a circular motion around the Academy."You were snapped out of your thoughts."copy that." You moved in a circular motion and saw Newt doing the same."Pilot(y/n) I command you to fly ina linear motion till 500 km to the north at 300km/h and then you have to perform a rotatory motion and go high up till 1km and then come back and then move around the Academy five time.Do you copy?""Yes officer I copy."you had to do it. You gracefully turned from South to North and flew 500km. You increased the velocity to 300km/h. You checked the radar if you could pick up anything. You saw Newt's jet fly above you. You continued to fly at a uniform velocity and zero acceleration. You looked outside thaw window and saw a beautiful view that you wanted to see badly for years. You looked at your GPS still 30 minutes were left for you to turn around. You prayed for Newt and yourself to stay safe. You smiled st the thought of Newt. "Pilot (y/n).I need you you to do a move and in a rotatory motion for and linear motion simultaneously.""Yes officer."you took a deep breath and prayed again and carefully twirled your jet and accelerated a bit.You twirled Andy you were shook, the view was ............just behind imagination. You were speechless. You saw Newt gracefully doing the same. He deliberately moved behind you. You decelerated to 300km/h and smiled to yourself. After 30 minutes you turned back and rose your pointed the anterior end of your jet towards the sky and rotated on the axis of your jet till 1km, then dived and then again rose yourself to an appropriate height and then after reaching near the Academy, you circled the Academy five times and spotted your runway and reduced the speed and lowered the anterior end of the jet towards the runway. After being significantly close to the runway you slightly rise it so that the wheels would touch instead of the end of the jet. You landed and rode your jet on the runway and smiled from ear to ear. You had never smiled so widely in your life. You parked your jet and came to a hault.
You closed your eyes and opened them again and exhaled deeply. You thanked God and smiled really widely. You opened the jet's canopy and got out after removing all the belts and switching off all the systems. You saw Newt circle the Academy and lamding after a while. You sat criss-crossed in front of your jet and watched as Newt come down and wondered if you looked heroic as him because you thought,even when you were a kid,that pilots were heroic. You saw Newt come to a hault and he got out. He rushed over to you after glancing one time at his jet. You got up and smiled at him, he did the same. "You did great out there."Newt said and you smiled widely."You too."You said and then you went to the officers and your trainers. They congratulated you and then you guys went to your rooms and then out of the blue your friends threw buckets of water st you and Newt. You didn't see this coming. Surprisingly, Newt didn't mind bing splashed with water, he actually was enjoying it. You guys laughed so hard that your stomach started hurting. "You two did great."Harry said. "Thanks." You both said together and for a split second you looked at each other. You all drenched in water. "You know what I really need to change my clothes."" Yeah both of you go now."Sonya said. You looked down and laughed and the smile never left your face, you flew a jet and that was.............just......................... Incomparable and unpredictable. You took out your clothes and and changed in to them and then talked about how it felt like flying a jet with your friends till dinner.
