The room had been mostly quiet for the past ten minutes, besides the occasional cuss or grumble from Hiroki. The shadow had been waltzing back and forth, eyeing everyone as they ate their food, which was tasteless mush that seemed to have been packed with many different vitamins- like dog food for humans-.

"Is everyone full and happy?" The shadow inquired.

There was no response.

The shadow seemed to sigh. Those golden eyes swam down to look at a switch, which as soon as it had been activated, a jarring shock was sent through each of the students. They all screamed.

The shock died down, leaving them all with the taste of copper in their mouths and the smell of burnt flesh in the air, making some of them sick to their stomach.

"While you all were unconscious, I inserted a chip into your arm, which allows me to shock you, should you do anything wrong. Now when I ask you a question, you shall answer it!"

At once, Hiroki brought his arm back as if about to rip at the tiny metal chip that shone through the thin translucent top layer of skin- but the shadow sent another shock through him, making him scream once more.

"Hiroki don't do anything stupid!" Adara yelled at him very suddenly after being quiet for so long. It shocked everyone, and the room grew silent again, except for the faint sound of footsteps. The group began mumbling quietly, and everyone, including the shadow, was looking for the source of the noise.

"Are those footsteps?" Nikki asked.

"Footsteps..." Ayami echoed.

Then everyone piped up, yapping like puppies about the sound of footsteps from the outside of the building they resided in. The footsteps were quick and harsh, and obviously not part of the shadowy figures plan, as the shadowy figure was staring wide-eyes at what seemed to be the only entrance.

A door which looked to have been sealed shut on the other side of the large, dark building, suddenly was beginning to grow red with heat.

The students in the cells cried out to whoever was breaking in, alerting them that they were there and in the clutches of the kidnapper.

"We're going to be saved! This nightmare is over we're going to be-" Ayuki was cut off as the door flew open, and standing there were two shadows in the foggy sunlight. One with an orange tint, and one with a gold tint.

"....Charlie..?" Omega asked slowly.

Omega and Bea stood in the doorway they had just broken into after hearing a screaming coming from inside, only to find a golden-eyed shadow with flowers poking out of it, standing in front of a large array of cells which held all the missing students.

The shadowy figure sighed and it suddenly grew less dark, revealing itself as no other than Charlie, the mute kid with the flower quirk.

Charlie sighed, "The only problem with having a flower quirk and a shadow quirk is that I can't turn off the flower one and it always gives me away." He chuckled evilly.

"Charlie you-" Omega was cut off by Bea

"You bastard!! I trusted you! I thought you were some mute, mindless sheep who would follow me around and let me hit on girls and do what I say and-"
-Bea continued shouting in anger, his fingers turning to magma-heated orange goop as a vine swam up his leg, going unnoticed-"You're older than me but shorter and that made me seem cool and I thought you were cool with that and-" The vines clutched Bea's arms and legs and brought him to his knees, Bea's quirk disappearing at once as a rather sharp vine with thorns found itself to his neck.

The students in the cells stood and watched in awe at the scene before them, helplessly. Haru glanced down at the bottle of water she had been given by Charlie to help regain her strength.

Guess the shadow, aka Charlie, wasn't as smart as he thought.

"No!" Omega cried, "Please don't hurt him!"

"Why do you care, 'teachers pet?', isn't that what he always calls you? He's a bully and he needs to be punished. This school is overpopulated and I'm going to fix that problem. Starting right here right now." He brought the thorns back, then flew forward with great force, chopping Bea's head clean off, leaving nothing but a bloody stump which began spraying blood shortly after. The vines released the body, which landed with a harsh thud.

Omega screamed in horror and tried backing away only to stumble and fall.

"And while we're at it," Charlie chuckled, "Might as well take you out too, Omega."

Suddenly a loud crash was heard and a yellow blur was seen as Charlie flew across the room.
