Sorry guys this isn't really an Update but I just want to talk about something. Also, things are repeated but I needed to get it all out... Lol
(I just want to say, this isn't an attack at anyone.)Slight TW: I talk kinda depressingly at the end, and I mention 'ending it all' and "not eating" and things.

Dallas Winston wasn't just a good for nothing Hood.
Ponyboy wasn't just a Little Nerd.
Johnny wasn't just some "UwU innocent soft boy who can't fight"
Darry wasn't just a hardass.
Soda wasn't just a hot dumb drop out with good hair.
Steve isn't just the "Car Guy".
Two-Bit isn't just there for Mickey Mouse, and for comic relief.
The Outsiders were NOT just some hot boys in a book and movie that English teachers force on kids.
Dallas Winston was a complex boy who had his life ahead of him. He was hardened by the streets of New York, and he ran to trouble to give himself some fun and attention when he couldn't get it in any other way. He wasn't just a heartless man who wanted everyone dead, he was a BOY hardened by seeing too many things at a young age. He was a BOY who was scared of getting attached to people because he's seen how people can be. He was a YOUNG BOY who died. He was a BOY who died because he lost the one person who had dug his way into Dallas' hardened exterior. He was good with fighting, and he was good at protecting People. He wasn't good for nothing, he was amazing and helped Pony, and Johnny, when he could have shut the door in their damn faces.
Ponyboy was the boy who loved sunsets and loved books. He was a nerd but he was also so much more than that. He was a living human being who cared for others. He cared for his friends, no his FAMILY. He was the boy who loved everyone no matter what and was the boy who KNEW that Dallas was more complex than what he let off. He was the boy who could read People. He was an artist, a writer. He was the boy who probably cried sometimes at night turned away from his brother so he wouldn't be called weak. He would cry because he missed his best friend, and he missed what Dally could have had. He was the boy who wore his heart on his sleeve and wanted people to be happy. He was the boy who had a crush on Cherry when she obviously liked Dally lol... He wasn't just some NERD. He buried himself in books, to escape the world he lived in because the world he lived in was harsh, was against him.
Johnny was a strong guy. He wasn't some soft boy who cried whenever he heard yelling, or whenever someone hit him. He was the boy who dealt with his father and mother's abuse every single day of his life and knew how to take a hit because of it. He was amazing in rumbles because he could take the pain. He isn't just an innocent boy with soft big eyes. He was the strong greaser who could take, and throw, a punch. He was the boy who stabbed Bob. He was the boy who was strong enough to KILL SOMEONE, for his best freaking friend. He isn't a pure innocent bean. He was amazing in rumbles and flirted with girls. He smoked, and he did what the rest of the gang did. He doesn't need people fighting his battles for him every five seconds, he's stronger than people give him credit for.
Darry is a protective older brother who cared about his brothers enough to pass up the chance of being a Soc... He was the man who would fight anyone who hurt his brothers. He was the man who worked, and worked, and worked, until he was exhausted, JUST to take care of his younger brothers. Darry is the man who works his ASS OFF when he could have been living life as a Soc because he loved his brothers. He's the guy who never really Mourned over the death of their parents because he was busy trying to take care of the only two people who he loved with everything in him.
