Chapter 15: Royal Backgrounds

Following this man that I have no clue who he is, is probably not the smartest move I've made. Sure I was taught as a young girl to not talk to strangers but I think that falls under girls-without-supernatural powers. That's why I decided to go because I know how to defend myself and I am no wimp if I do say so myself.

"Okay right here should be fine" he said stopping and turned to look at me.

Where he has taken me pretty much looks like were a child molester would take a child.

"Yeah, a dark ally with no sign of humanity is a perfect place to take a girl to have a conversation with" I said sarcastically.

"Wow you get that sense of humor from your mother" he said making a small chuckle.

"I also get my good looks from my parents as well but anyways what do you have to tell me? I'm here to find out information about my parents" I said getting to the point.

"Let me introduce myself my name is Lorenzo I was your fathers right hand man. As you know your parents were royalty to the vampire race. Your father was born a vampire just like you were unlike your mother who was bitten to become a vampire. It's very very rare for a vampire to born a vampire. That's why your father was chosen to become king of all vampires. He also had great powers that no other vampire has ever had which came with being born a vampire. There was of course those vampires who were against your family unlike the others who were loyal. Those vampires are the one who murdered your parents. That's when the council decided to take power" he explained

While he was talking I was just thinking doesn't anyone get a hint that the council is the one who killed my parents. Makes me hate them even more if my parents were as loyal and equal as everybody says why would anyone want to kill them. I guess jealousy is a very ugly trait to have and that's exactly what the council had it was all jealousy.

Revenge is never the answer but when it comes to family oh I was going to get mine. I will learn all my powers I was gifted and I'm going to learn how to control them and use them.

The council will never know that hit them because this is for my family.

I made my way back to Bluevale because I did miss Belle and can't believe I'm going to say this but I miss Gage as well.

As I arrived home I saw a boy sitting on my porch with his head down looking at his shoes.

Getting out of my car the boy lifted his head and once I saw his face it was Gage but I shocked he had come to my house.

"Gage what are you doing here?" I said questioning him.

"I needed someone to take too and I thought of you is that so hard to believe?" He said confused.

"Yes Gage it is but sure come in" unlocking my door.

"How come your parents are never around do you live by yourself?" Gage asked.

"My parents passed away so pretty much yeah I live by myself" I said telling the truth but I never thought I would because I never even told Belle that.

"Oh I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked kind of makes my parents issue sound kind of stupid because that's why I came here" he said turning his smile to a frown.

"Well since you look pretty down I'm all ears then" I said sitting down on the couch.

"My parents are divorcing which sounds cliche because almost every family is divorcing now a days-"

Cutting off Gage "it's okay to feel upset about that I mean that's something that every kid would feel if that situation happened to them. Just know whatever reason they are divorcing for is not because of you"

"Well thank you that's why I came here so you can shed some positivity to my life right now" he said turning his frown upside down (no? Okay)

Couldn't help but hug the kid because feeling depressed I've been there down that and still happens.

"Since we are hugging can we um make out?" He said asking.

"Okay this moment is ruined you may leave now" I said standing up.

"Hahaha I was joking gosh Mira"
