Chapter 19: Jailcell buddies pt. 2

"And that's how I got my ears pierced" Bella is seriously the worst person to stay with in jail. She does not stop talking, she talks about the most random things that made her feel reckless . She told me the time she got her first B and how she felt that her world was going to collide, she was never going to forgive Mr. Bostian her chemistry teacher.

"Mira are you awake? I think someone new has been put into here next to us" that was the one thing that did interest me out of her whole conversation.

I stood up and felt my whole body was sore and these heels were killing me, which was strange because my body never aches. I touched the bars and it burned my hand that's when I noticed we were trapped in vervain.

"Those sneaky bastards damn it" I said to myself.

"What did you say Mira?"

"We are screwed they engraved vervain into the bars, which is practically our kryptonite."

I heard a grown like the sound of someone waking up and that's when I looked at the cell beside us. And it was Gage.

"Mira? Bella? Where am I?" He said Rubbing his head and looking around.

Him being here is going to ruin my whole secret that I have been keeping away from him. What other explanation or excuse can I give him? No other then telling him my whole secret and what these people want from me. And that's exactly what I did.

"Gage, I've been hiding something from you something that's unexplainable and unbelievable. I want you to have a open mind about what I'm about to tell you" he nodded in fear. "I'm not 18 years old, I'm 500 years old, I'm not human like you, I'm a vampire, and these people are after me. I'm so so so sorry about involving you and Belle and I will never forgive myself"

"Mira you're not telling the truth and we are just in jail because we got drunk or drugged-"

"No Gage this isn't police jail this is Vampire-council jail, and I can't really prove myself without showing you even though I may not be that strong right now but I'll try" he stayed silent and with all my power I could manage I let my fangs come through and eyes change color.

"You're a vampire, you are a fucking vampire, I've been hanging out with a vampire... What the hell!" He looked at me pretty harshly and all I could do was apologize and explain.

"I was never going to harm you or Bella in any way, I've been around you guys a lot and I've had plenty chances to do it but I'm not that kind of person anymore" I said looking down.

"I forgive you Mira, but I just can't believe you guys are real that's what amazes me" he said.

"Well we exist sadly"

"All those time I woke up in your house telling me I've fell or bumped my head I'm guessing those weren't true?" He questioned.

"No, I'm a wanted vampire for my powers and those people will harm you and Bella because you guys matter"

And with that I had spilled the beans, let the cat out of the bag or whatever cliche saying you want to say.

"I will get us out of this and protect you guys through out this whole mess of my life I wish I have never brought" I said with a faint smile I was so weak to even show emotions.

"You know Mira this whole vampire, bad girl vibe is really turning me on" Gage said with a smirk.

"You do not change Mr. Cole not at all"
