You have got to be kidding me. I turned around to face Mr. Smelly Cologne. "No, we don't need a ride," I said in the most annoyed tone I could muster. However, it didn't seem to faze this guy.

"Okay look let's start over. I'm Tyler and you are?"

Still not interested I thought.

Before I could say that thought allowed, Erica hung up her phone and spoke up. "What part of rejection don't you understand?" She asked coming to stand beside me with her hands on her hips.

Tyler turned his attention towards her with a frown on his face. "I'm trying to be nice here."

I scoffed. Yeah now he puts on the "nice guy" act. To try and avoid a situation, I tried putting on my own nice act. "I'm sorry, I'm not interested," I told him. Then I looked at Erica. "Let's get out of here," I said to her locking my arm with her.

We started to walk around him when his hand reached out and grabbed my wrist breaking me away from Erica. "Hey!" Erica fumed.

"You're not even giving me a chance, I'm being nice here," he said clearly getting agitated.

As if I owe him something for his sudden decision to do a nicer approach. Insert eye roll here.  "Let go of me," I said through gritted teeth, turning my head towards him.

"Listen, I just—"

"She said let her go," came a deep voice I knew all too well. I tore my wrist out of Tyler's grip just as Grey stepped in front of me.

I went to stand next to Erica and saw Hunter there as well. Grey stood with his back towards us and I quickly noticed Grey's hand balled into a fist as he stood eye to eye with Tyler.

"I suggest you leave before things get ugly," Grey said in a chillingly calm voice that I've never heard before.

I guess his tone was a bad thing because Hunter stepped away from Erica and I to stand by Grey's side with his arms folded across his chest.

Tyler glared back at Grey, his nostrils flared and his jaw clenched. As grateful as I was for Grey and Hunter stepping in, I really didn't want to be witness to a fight.

I had to stop this before it did indeed get ugly, but before I could do anything the guy smirked at Grey and raised his hands in surrender. "You know what man, forget this. You can have her." That being said, he stalked passed us and went back into the club.

I released a breath I didn't realize I was holding when Grey turned to face me. "Are you okay?" He asked concern laced in his voice.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay."

"He didn't hurt you, did he?"

I shook my head and subconsciously looked down at my wrist. Thankfully he hadn't grabbed me that hard.

"Thank you, guys, for helping," I said looking between Grey and Hunter.

Hunter unfolded his arms and shrugged. "No problem, that guy was a jerk."

"You guys didn't follow us here, did you?" Erica asked lifting a brow towards Hunter.

He scoffed. "Of course, we didn't. We just so happened to at the right place at the right time," he replied with a smirk.

I shook my head at him and smiled. "Well I'm glad you guys were here."

Let's be honest though, if they hadn't shown up, I probably would've slapped that creep into next week.

"I mean we did notice you two inside at one point, but we didn't want to intrude on 'girl's night'," Grey admitted.

Erica let out a snort at his comment. "Oh, honey please we would not have minded one bit," she said winking.
