"Hello Sir Sink!" Millie said, waving at my dad as she let herself in through the front door. He shot her a wave, Millie being his favourite friend of mine. "And little Sink, hello." she smiled, taking a seat next to me.
"So? What do you wanna ask me?" I asked her, scrolling through my Instagram feed. She gave me a smile before answering,
"A party!" she said eagerly, probably knowing my answer was going to be a 'no'. I rolled my eyes and ignored her, I was done with parties. "Please... Sadie, it won't be the same without you..."
"Who's going to be there?" I asked, folding my arms.
"Jack, Gaten, Judah, Asher, blah, blah, blah, and basically everyone else." Millie shrugged.
"What about Finn? Is he going?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah... the way he stuck up for you was so amazing. He's so handsome! Why'd you ask anyway?..." she smirked, raising an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling. "SADIE SINK HAS A CRUSH?!" she screamed eagerly. I felt my dad raising a brow at her.
"No! I- I just, I just wanted to know if he was going." I tried to explain myself without smiling, but I just couldn't help with the look on her face.
"You have a cruuuuuuushhhh!" she danced around my living room eagerly.
"Millie, I'd like to see this Finn." My dad joked.
"Oh trust me Sir Sink, he's handsome!" she assured him, running up to him, phone in hand to show him a photo.
"I do not like him!" I smirked.
"You know, your mother used to say that about me, now look where we are, married and with 3 children!" My dad teased me.
"HA! Good one, Sir Sink!" they high-fived. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling. Was I really catching feelings for Finn Wolfhard? "So is that a yes?" Millie asked me eagerly.
"Fine." I smirked.
"Great! Pick you up tomorrow at 8, be ready for Mr Wolfhard." she smiled.
