"Happy birthday hun!" I said, embracing Jaeden. "You're getting so old already." I joked, sniffling."Soon I won't be able to act like a child." he sighed, chuckling. "Thank you for the gift, my love." he joked as I handed the tall gift bag to him. He ripped off the clear tape holding the two sides shut and revealed what was inside. A large bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne lay inside, not only did it taste amazing but it was so aesthetically pleasing. "Oh Sadie... you shouldn't have," he said, smiling as he examined the bottle, he pulled me into a tight hug and whispered in my ear, "you can have the first glass of this stuff."
"So fancy! Love it, girl." Millie smiled, examining the bottle whilst linking arms with Sophia. "Why don't you go all out like that for my birthday?" she joked. "Anyhow, Jae, where's the cake? And it better be the most impressive cake I've seen yet." The trio were engaged in conversation whilst I walked to the kitchen to grab another drink, 'So far, so good.' I thought to myself.
"Hey." I turned around to see Jack standing in the doorway of the kitchen, grasping a red, plastic cup. "How's the party been treating you so far?"
"Good, so far anyway." I chuckled, just then, my mind went to the tall, skinny bad boy who I hadn't see in a while. "Have you seen Finn? The last time I saw him he was stoned and drunk... I'm worried about him." I asked with concern.
Jack raised a brow, "I haven't seen him all night actually, I'll keep an eye out for him and drop him a text."
"Thank you, you're the best." I thanked him, pulling him into a hug.

It got very claustrophobic very fast and I soon grew uncomfortable. I decided to take a break outside in the cool breeze, it was nice. My legs soon started to hurt so I approached the curb, holding my red cup, I saw a boy with raven hair. "Hey." I said, sitting down next to him on the curb, the path was cold, but I didn't mind.
"Hey..." Finn replied, I could tell by his voice that he had sobered up.
"You okay? I half-expected you to be inside with the boys." I joked.
"I'm good... you're not mad at me are you?" he asked, guilt laced in his voice.
"No... Finn, I just wanted to have a good time, I wanted you to have a good time instead of getting stoned and wasted and not being able to remember any of your bestfriend's birthday."
"I know..." he sighed. "I screwed up, I'm sorry."
"It's okay... besides, I could never be mad at you." I smiled, "Come inside?" I asked, standing up and offering my hand to him.
"If you say so." he chuckled, taking my hand.
