I was seeing Finn again today, and I was excited. I really liked hanging out with him. I had just finished curling my hair when I heard a knock at the door. That must be him.
I ran down the stairs to the door, before my dad could answer. I opened the door and Finn smiled at me, his smile was so gorgeous...
"Hey Sadie." he said softly.
"Hey Finn, come in." I said, moving out of the doorway. "I'm still not ready yet so do you wanna come up to my room?"
"Y-yeah." he stuttered, never in my life had I heard Finn Wolfhard stutter. I grabbed his hand and sped up the stairs.
"Sadie? Where are you going?" my dad asked and I was halfway up the stairs, my hands still locked with Finn's.
"I'm going upstairs to finish getting ready, Finn's just gonna wait in my bedroom." I told him.
"Okay fine, but leave the door open!" he warned. I rolled my eyes in embarrassment, and continued walking up the stairs.
"Nice room." Finn said, looking around it. My room was fairly small, but it was very cosy. I constantly kept my blackout curtains closed and left on my pink fairy lights, giving the room a dark pink hue. "You look beautiful, by the way." his compliment caught me off guard and I began to blush.
"Thank you." I smiled and tried to hide my excitement. He smiled back and stared into my eyes for a few moments before looking away. I had so many butterflies...

We sat on the field as the sun was beginning to set. I just admired the orange sky, this time of night was always my favourite. "Are you coming to Jae's 18th birthday party?" Finn asked me, moving the hair out of his face.
"Yeah, I can do. When is it exactly?" I asked him.
"This Friday. I do hope to see you there." he said with a shy smile. I blushed slightly and began flirting.
"Well, if you're gonna be there then of course I'll come." He bit his lip and smiled, saying nothing in reply. We sat in silence for a few more moments, until he spoke up again.
"Can I have a hug, Sadie?" he asked me, opening up his arms as he sat on the grass.
"Of course you can." I moved over to him and sat on his lap, wrapping my arms around him. He moved his hand down to my waist, giving me butterflies. Our hug was something different, it lasted forever and for some reason, I didn't wanna let go.
Finn pulled away from the hug, but kept his hands around my waist, "Sadie..."
"Yes, Finn?"
"I- I'm sorry. For everything I did to you before, for messing with you. I really am." he said, his apology was so sincere and I could see the guilt in his eyes.
"Shh, Wolfhard." I said softly, leaning in. He leant in too, and we locked lips. We finished the night with a kiss, which was very long awaited.
