It was dark, damp and cold and I had a high risk of being kidnapped. I didn't care, I just wanted to be alone.
That's a lie, I didn't want to be alone, I just needed to someone, someone real, someone who could listen. "You okay?" I jumped at the sound of a familiar voice.
"Fuck off, Angel, I've had enough boy drama for one day." I rolled my eyes, turning my back to the boy. He held his hands up in surrender and stood beside me.
"I'm not trying to get in your pants, Sadie." Asher smirked. "I know it seems like that sometimes, you're a really beautiful girl so it's hard to not notice you, I guess." He shrugged and pulled something out of his pocket.
"You smoke?" I raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Yeah, yeah, 'golden boy' smokes" he chuckled slightly, lighting up the cigarette. I watched him puff the disgusting scented smoke into the air. "Want a drag?" he asked.
"No." I rolled my eyes at his habit, "it's gross." I folded my arms. It was quiet for a few minutes, "You're not as perfect as you seem, Angel."
He stared at me for a few moments and bit his lip before breaking eye contact. "Yeah... well I try to be." he chuckled, throwing the cigarette on the ground and stamping it out. He then turned back to look at me and I just stared back at him. I don't know what it was but I had a feeling in my stomach. Almost the urge to kiss him? When he began to move closer I know he felt it too. "I know I said I'm not trying to get in your pants but.." he smirked, his face mere centimetres away from mine. I don't know why I did, but I wrapped my hands around the back of his neck and pulled him in.
As the kiss became more intense he wrapped his hands around my waist. In that moment I only felt two things, Asher's tongue down my throat and the sinking feeling of being watched.
