Hannah POV
I hand my father the bread and walk up to my room.
It's eight in the evening now and I'm curious about dinner so I walk downstairs to my father and ask "when will we have dinner?".
"You are not getting any dinner because of how you spoke to me today" my father says.
"But you've had some?" I say.
"Of course" he says nodding at the same time.
"What have I done to you to make you treat me like this and why do you think beating me will change the fact that you are a coward?" I scream.
My dad stands up and starts walking towards me clenching his fist. "Because you always argue" he replied then he punched me.
It was about five minutes later when he stopped and he said "next time you won't be so lucky to survive" and he walks off.
I have to get out of here.
If I stay here any longer he'll just hurt me even more and I can't let that happen.
That night I pack three dresses, five skirts and five shirts. I slip on my blue skirt that's to short and pull on a white tank top and head out.
I walk for hours when I finally reach the harbour.
"We need to leave in two minutes, say your goodbyes we are sailing away to a different land" a pirate says.
The man then walks onto his ship.
I follow him but before I can step onto the boat two men block me and ask "why are you trying to get on this boat?".
"Because I need to talk to your captain" I demand. The man who I heard speaking earlier turns around and tells the men to stop blocking my way then walks up to me and says "what do you want?".
"A ride to wherever your heading" I say without questioning.
"And what makes you think I'll let you on my ship?" He says.
"Because I'm only there for the ride. I won't be staying and I know how to ride a boat my mother taught me when I was little" I say hoping he'll let me on.
"Well then, what's your name?" He asks.
"Hannah" I reply.
"Well Hannah welcome abroad my ship, I'm Captain Hook, but my crew call me hook so please" hook says.
"Thank you Hook" I say making my way on board.
2 days later
"Land ahoy" one of the crew members say.
I run to the edge of the ship and see the most beautiful island.
"Neverland" Hook says.
"It's beautiful" I say smiling at him. In the past 2 days we have become close friends.
"Yes it is but there are dangers there as well" Hook says.
Before I can ask him what the dangers are a crew member calls him over.
"We will be sailing over to Neverland on the boats so grab your peddles and let's go" hook ordered.
We made our way over to the Island slowly. When we hit the beach I'm the first to get off the boats and say "it looks safe".
I turn around to see that the boats were retreating back to the main ship. "What, where are you going?" I scream.
"You said you were just coming for the ride and we dropped you off here we won't be going anywhere for a couple of days we will be on the ship if you need us" hook wailed.
I'm guessing he wanted to say goodbye because they all came back to say farewell.
"I'm sorry goodbye dear Hannah I wish you all the best" hook says.
At that moment I push him over and run to one of the boats.
I'm so close to touching the boat when the crew members grab me and haul me back. "Let go of me" I scream.
Hook stands up and looks at me. He punches me twice in the face then twice in the stomach he then says "I'm sorry Hannah".
When I wake up I find myself looking out to Hooks ship and realise that I'm on the island and that they've left me here. So much for manners.
I stand up, look around and make my way into the jungle.
